  1. well, normaly i am not much of a doomsayer, but this time i dare to say that this might very well be the deathblow to vanguard in europe
the SOE customer service was the only thing keeping this buggy game alive, without it, vanguard is not playable in any fun way, too many bugged things
and this is not even taking into account that i for one certainly won't sign up with p7s1, there is no way i'll fund a company that i so thoroughly despise
bye bye vanguard, i had fun with you, but it seems like you finaly got killed

I have to agree on that one. Vanguard GM work is exceptionally good. In fact it is the best I have seen in any game I have ever played and that one has kept Vanguard floating in a middle of buggy content and other problems.
If euro players get some 3rd class ProSiebenSat.1 GMs running in the server, it is a major blow to gaming experience.
  4. thanks for the anwsers.
  5. Piestro - All those issues you say you will look into, and are trying to get changed, are the same issues that were brought up over the last 6 months due to EQ2 having the exact same issues. Why havent you, in 6 months, figured it out yet? Is it perhaps because the issues will NOT be resolved but you cant say so?
Prosieben has the worst reputation amongst companies in Germany, with good reason - I do not want them to have my credit card information in any way, nor be a costumer of theirs, due to their history.
DCOU has tons of issues right now, people missing SC's, expansions, money being paid for things that never appear...thats the kind of service you want us to have now?
I hope that when EQ2 transfers over, you will either have some IRONCLAD systems in place or see that Prosieben are inept at this and call off the deal.

Maybe for you as a subscriber the GM work is exceptionally good but for me as a F2P player the ingame support is non-existant. They told me to get a subscription if i wanted support on a bugged quest. If ProSieben gives the f2p community ingame support for bugged content i welcome them with open arms.
  7. after playing on and off from beta geting hopefull with ftp. im now looking for another game...im not paying more to a german company thats has a bad rep...i dont want my info shared with them. sony you are going to lose a lot of old timers who kept this alive over this issue

  8. Not happy about this. Just bought a 3 month sub to find the game is being passed over to ProSiebenSat. Is it possible to make a new SOE account with a fake US address to continue playing on the SOE servers?
  9. Also, does this mean that Euros will lag behind the US with patches and future content??
  10. Piestro wrote:
i think we get the same patch at the same time ;-)

Not even nessecary, read the prior answers to those same questions

All players will recieve patches at the same time.

  13. Will the GM's still be fluent in english? Their translations so far both on their sites, their EULA's and their forums posts leaves much to be desired.

    please read the thread :)

You should post some more infos on page 1 Piestro
  15. I just read this, and I don't know whether to laugh, or just quench the urge to empty my stomach. This news is both wretched, and horrible. Secondary control of mmos in Europe has no proven track record in positive outcomes for players. SOE: We made this game free-to-play! Everybody come see. Now, go play it over there!
I'm disgusted, and there's no way i am going along with this.
"Can we still expect to see PlanetSide 2 in Europe?
Yes, PlanetSide 2 will be available through the publishing efforts of ProSiebenSat.1 Games in Europe."
    What the!
I was really looking forward to that, under SOE. I will not consider it under the proposed circumstances. Thankfully, I saw that FAQ and carried on scrolling. Meh.

    Awesome. Looking forward.
Edit: This customer complaints thread just reads like a bad nightmare.
Edit 2: It gets better. Player A files a petition reporting Player B for harassment, and Player A receives this reply.

  17. The DCUO forums are a mess - So many issues and a few friends are reporting they still don't have their items, expansions and even some of their characters.
EQ2 probably has a larger playerbase, so perhaps they are able to make themselves be heard before the time comes to turn over Vanguard players to the slaugther?
  18. I just thought of something, might not be a big issue for msot people but it certainly would be a big issue for me. I tend to spend a couple of months every year in South America. Yes I play VG from there. How am I gonna be affected by the PSS1 deal? Will I not be able to play my char when in Br? Or will i not be able to acces my account in Europe?
  19. I pinched this lil gem from the EQ2 forums.
