    It amazes me that SOE can't come here and tell us themselves though. Good news though! Suck to be DCUO though.
    And its also pretty funny that Smedly claims that Prosieben have better costumer service - They havent answered anything on their own freaking forums in a month. Not since they fired the last one who did.

  4. I see some player wants to see VG in PSS1 Marketing too, as i do, because there are TV-Trailers all the day with the games.
    But at the current shape VG is, there makes no sense in my opinion to get such many players before the stability of the game is guaranteed. There are high pings and low FPS in many cities, with more players the zone will crash. Better Marketing = More players = more crash = even more players leave due unplayable Game.
    If you see other games actually and how smooth they run, then you come back as i did to VG an see the lags, hitches and whatever disturbes the playfun, its really counterprodictive to raise the playerbase at the moment. Fixt the stuff first, then do marketing.

    And if there is not enough money for having a QA just put the content on life servers and live the service basic idea.
    We even don't get something for testing. What about special pets or titles? Bonus stuff for #bugs found? Anything?
    There is even no help how to get on test servers. You have to be smart to do this...
    But back to topic: PSS1 has a better support compared to SOE? Dafuq? You must be kidding!
    I really want to stay on US servers and with SOE support.

    should you ever go to the test forums the link above will show you how to log in and also how to copy your character over to the test server. Vg does have a QA. and new stuff is given to them every time there is an update. Putting the new patch on test is for "US" to test to make sure it work before it goes live. the problem is we players will find more issuses since we play it in groups, raids , boxing ...........
    Yes the Devs will always tell you whem you met them face to face the things you want to hear , but they will also tell you what you don't want to hear. a lot of question we ask we where told not going to happen, or yes we would like to but currently it not high on the list. i have been playing VG since release and i have never left the game. i have heard it all in my 6 + years of playing, Yes i am weary of what ive been told at Soe Live. But i also have a feeling that this time they will deliver.
    i only reply to the thread since a player was under the impression that our Dev team wasn't concerned with the issue we currently have in the game , i only wanted to point out to them that the dev are concern.
  8. Honestly i dont see what the fuss is all about.
    No matter how you look at it EU players will be better off with PSS1.
    1. SOE will still handle servers.
    2. SOE will still develop updates and marketplace items.
    3. You can play on both US and EU servers.
    4. PSS1 IS what Vanguard needs right now. Dont forget that it was thanks to their aggresive TV Commercials for EQ 2 that EU population in said game skyrocketed.
    5. You will have a lot more payment options.
    6. Better multilanguage support.
    7. You can still post on SOE forums if u want to.
    I can still go on but i think you guys get the point :)
    SOE didnt sign a contract with them to get rid of us, it was cause they dont have the required recources to provide players in EU with premium service.
    Instead of thinking they dont care about us, i think this shows us quite the opposite - they wherent happy with the quality of service they where able to provide us so they decided to find someone who will manage better with EU population.

    • Your SC is no longer station cash but seven cash and has it's own rules. You can't use SC cash days later.
    • As PSS1 plan to block non EU countries, you are doomed. Maybe that's not the case now, but it's more likely than with SOE which is an US company.
    • Those more payment options are just smoothing the lower end (SMS etc.). You can't win over US payment providers like paypal or CC.
    • Better language support? You mean... there is multilanguage support then? That's true, but as we played 5 years without now, we don't need that.
    • As there are new T&Ls, you may lose the ability to multibox due to accounting rules. You know Europe (esp. Germany) is like a monster in law. It really depends who is 'guessing' what that rules mean if you get or lose stuff.
    • As SOE handles the game and it's support, it's all in one hand and it's own vision. PSS1 instead is just a big gamers exchange. They don't mind single players and their problems. So it might be the case that you die with your problem, because there is another bigger game taking the attention. If you try to blame someone, you just get the answer that it's 'their fault' on both sides.
    • You mabe get spammed with ads of other PSS1 games. There is no clear statement who get's what data yet. Seems that Sony is way more careful on gamer's data. At least after the latest security desasters.
    • If you create new accounts later you are bond to both sides with different rules. And maybe that stresses even more.
    And I think there's even more. I still want to stay with SOE.
  12. There also the fact the Prosieben is labelled as one of the worst companies in Germany due to extremely poor handling of customers.
    That aside, they also recently advertised for help to help with their forums and of course, credit cards. Yes, they want to use unskilled labor , hired over the net, to help with the forums and of course to handle your credit card details.
    Lastly - Better costumer service? Take a look at their forums and see how much feedback they give to frustrated players.
    Yes, thats right - absolutely nothing.
