Hey Hobart, Can you do a server wide /copy at free will? I mean, just seems like when you DO end up needing to stress test the test server, having everyone copied would make it easier. Then all ya gotta do is have the GMs and maybe some guilds have a huge Stress Test Party one night, and just party in a chunk or two...
I was also thinking a complete copy of Telon to the Test Server. Should do a complete wipe to prevent naming problems. Complete Copy would keep Guilds together for quicker testing.
We hope to have these changes to QA either tomorrow or monday. QA will do their sanity check and then we'll plan on getting them to Test when the schedule permits.
This is good news. I think it is safe to say that WE are very pleased to hear this. I will be sure to start letting players in game to know about the up and coming and to look out for it so that we can maximize participation
some sort of big copy for characters would be great , whether it be auto generated or require us all to /copy by a certain date. lets hit this big on test.
Ya, I'll run a copy to test when the changes are updated to test. Just be sure to run the slash command before then.
Is it possible to just do another server wipe and complete copy to avoid the naming issues that show up with character copies? Only when the Changes are put on Test.
I just did a copytotest. I'll do another tomorrow. We plan on updating Test with the changes once the live update is done.
woot! That's awesome news Hobart! I don't suppose when you get it moved to test that you could do some test raids to make sure we're not experiencing problems? Maybe something like Zodifin that's pretty straightforward, can easily be pugged, and is known for lag.
We'll do some raids as soon as Test becomes stable, there is a good chance once we get more then 5 people logging in, things could go horribly wrong.

Woot! I can't wait! I have no idea what I'll do on the test server, but I'm excited things are moving along, and something that's been needing to get done since launch is actually...well getting done!
I have just reflagged several toons on my 5 accounts to be copied to test. If test is up when my daughter gets home from school we will do some testing.
