Hello and Thank You!

I played Vanguard from Beta 3 (I think it was 3...) through launch and full-time for a year and a half out of the first three years with a break in the middle. I have two level 50s and a bunch of lower levels but I never took to the raiding "end-game".

I've played on and off ever since, logging in now and then to work on Diplomacy and just sail my boat. The idea that there wouldn't be a Telon any more to visit whenever the mood took me was deeply uncomfortable so I was hoping someone would take a run a Vanguard emulator. This evening I googled "Vanguard Emulator" - ten minutes later I was a Level One Raki on the Isle of Dawn (could have sworn I selected "home City"). Very impressed.

I was able to make a character and log in more smoothly than some Live MMOs I've played. There were NPCs present when I arrived but they tended to vanish and my run speed was about ten times what I expected but still - it's Telon!

My programming skills began an ended with Cobol in about 1983 so I'm afraid I can't be of much use on the project but I plan on roaming the official Telon throughout July so if you could add me to the Collection team I'd be glad to do what I can there.

The only place to go right now is where I send you, and that is the accursed Isle of Dawn but once a few more things stabilize you will not only have Home Town's, but the original Home Town's of old.
