For those of you logging in to see our fresh, new world, I thank you for taking the time to do so. Currently, the world is barren as I work diligently to parse more accurate spawn data out of our many, many log files (collectors = heroes).

Meanwhile, you can still run like crazy across the continents or use the .rift command to move around the world and see the beauty that is Vanguard. NPCs will be making their re-appearance very soon. Rift destinations can be found here: The Chunk List

Huge props to theFoof for stabilizing our world travel so we can in fact, move around without crashing like before. Awesome work, man.

Thanks to the foof! Quick question.. what is the syntax for the rift command? I tried typing several variations such as .rift 1 .rift southwatch .rift [1|southwatch] but all to no avail. I tried the / command as well like the normal game but nothing worked. Clearly I missing something simple.

.rift 1 and .rift southwatch should be correct syntax. If using the name it might be case sensitive I don't remember honestly, I'll change it to be case insensitive on my next commit if it isn't already.

Awesome stuff guys! I just checked out Nexus and it definitely was never in the game. Very cool to see some possibilities for new content development. Sadly, Im stuck in Nexus (271) now. The .rift command won't seem to take me anywhere else.

.rift {id} and shortname definitely isn't working in rev 462 (if it's fixed after that, nevermind).
I take that back, it stops working probably because of the fake disconnect mentioned in the Bugs forum just now. I restarted the world and immediately tried .rift and it worked fine.
