Harvesting

Hi. It may well be that I have missed something simple, but I have yet to get a harvesting instructor to set my primary or secondary harvesting spheres. I've checked the harvesting instructors for Isle of Dawn, Hathor Zhi, and Kahl. I have been able to buy and axe and harvest the saplings to my heart's content and even seen that the conversion from logs to timbers works. But that is about all I have been able to do with it.

I read that harvesting was live. Is it live only for the saplings or have I had a blonde moment and missed something critical?

I believe the only harvesting introduction quest that has been set up is in Tursh. I've not been able to set it up in Dahknarg yet because the quests are missing and I didn't want to pester the devs too much about tracking it down.

Kuden Stonefinder is another harvesting instructor/vendor that can get you started. You can find Kuden outside the main gate leading onto the bridge outside of Bordinar's Cleft.

I'm not too far into the harvesting spectrum with Quarrying and Mining but the harvesting advancement system seems to be intact. The vendor sells the tier advancement manuals and basic spectrum of harvesting gear. I've even gotten some quartz shards from basalt nodes and these are uncommon so seems like harvesting loot tables are intact.
