Details:
When I went to buy my level 6 DK abilities, Dreadful Countenance II was for sale on the vendor. I'm pretty sure the Dreadful Countenance line of abilities were passive abilities that you did not have to cast. They were always up, and they automatically upgraded as you levelled.
