Rebuilding the Vanguard Community
Just a heads up that coming next year, I'm going to try to drive most non-developer traffic to the [url=http://vgoplayers.com/community:1kbr62ze]VGOPlayers.com Community Forums[/url:1kbr62ze] and away from this development site. We will still remain open for reading, and all visitors will still be able to read our public posts and progress, portal apps like Account Management, Project Manager and Bug Tracker and so forth.
The purpose behind this is to rebuild the community of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes players like we had on the official SOE forums; a place for you to call Home. Currently, I know the VGOPlayers site and portal modules are a bit "fugly" but we'll work on those in the coming year to make them a viable portal to the game.
Along with this move will be an effort to provide a "Data API" similar to SOE's old census for those fansites that will naturally burst to life along with actual Server Pages, Leaderboards and Petition/Help Portal - basically rebuilding the old VGPlayers.com interface. Once we switch over, all Account Management will also be handled over there in one seemless single-signon fashion... at least, that's the hope
