Hmm. Some of those things were not happening at one time this afternoon, but seem to have reappeared. I didn't see either of those happening right before I committed; in fact I moved bags into and around each other over and over again and shuffled them around specifically to test this. I also could never get a bag to go into inventory if it had any contents. I'm guessing one of the last things I did must have messed up the process. I'll look at it in the morning and get that fixed.

I can easily walk you through the scenario to duplicate the "contents in bag" issue

Buy 2 Saddlebags
Place one saddlebag in the un-occupied saddlebag slot
Open this bag and place something in it
Close the saddlebag
now right-click the other saddlebag in inventory
bam! - You now have a saddlebag in inventory that has an item in it. Try moving it around to another slot in inventory, and you get the error

You can repeat this with regular bags but the set-up is hard to replicate due to the current issue with the bags I mentioned above

I am 99% sure I have it fixed now, and it will be in my next update. Bags are tricky!

This will cover regular bags and saddlebags for now, so crafting and harvesting containers are not yet included.

Are we taking into account (someday, at least) item "size"? Pretty sure you couldn't put your Vorpal Sword of Doom into a skittle pouch. Right?

Lmao ! The size doesn't matter (at least that's what I have been told lol! )The amount of slots the bag has is the only size restriction on them. The vorpal sword of doom goes in any bag as well as the stick of shame and slappy : )

Well not quite...

Any item can be placed into general inventory containers
Only Diplomacy items can be placed in a Diplomacy container (This includes Diplomacy gear as well)
Only Crafting materials can be placed in a Crafting container - You could not place crafting clothing or finished crafting items in the crafting container

I could able be missing a few other rules and conditions though

You sure? I don't think you can put your Vorpal Sword of Doom in a collectors pouch. Likewise, only crafter stuff can go in the crafter bags.

well yes the crafting and collecting ( mining, skinning and lumberjacking bags) and diplo rules are correct but the bug was about general inventory bags so thats what i was referring to
