[Solved] Reproducable CTD
Got a reproducable CTD (= crash to desktop):
1. Login character A.
2. Login character B.
3. Brute force close the VGClient for character B (red cross).
4. Wait until the server is about to remove character B.
=> Character A CTD's
Reproduced 5 times on my local machine and 1 time togheter with Blackstorm on Blackstorms public server. 100% reproducable.
Assumingly this is related to one of the other bug reports of late, but I don't know which.
Need someone else to look into the details on why this happens.

Re: Reproducable CTD
I am finding that when I am on my own world, or even New Telon all alone, everything is brilliantly perfect. The moment a 2nd connection starts, sets danger in motion that will eventually end up with someone booting everyone offline. I am pretty sure (as Volt puts it) Brutally closing the client (be that the Windows "X", or /exit, or crash) is the current suspect for all our remaining connectivity issues. These are just my observations from reviewing New Telon logs.
Good discovery, Volt.

Re: Reproducable CTD
Today's example (using this post because the older one just gets ignored ) I was online with 4 others. Me and Xinux were online for quite a while. Maiq logged on for a while. Aradune then logged in and all was fine until he rifted to my chunk (scared me) then ran off, .rifted somewhere else. My client immediately closed. Looks like Maiq and Xinux (not in my chunk) are still in-game, being saved. As I type this, I see Xinux's toon get fully disconnected, so likely he got bumped too. Maiq I suspect will be next.

Haha, Aradune? Is that someone's idea of a joke or is Brad McQuaid now playing on New Telon?

Re: Reproducable CTD
Heh, no not Brad. He's not allowed to come within 100 miles of an Emulator, he'd probably get into trouble with Teh Smed
Re: Reproducable CTD
Actually, Brad was logged on a week or so ago. He chatted in-game with a few of us.
Re: Reproducable CTD
Aradune Mithara? That's not Brad :p
