Can anyone tell me what the visual above the NPC's head is from?

Those sparkles usually show a quest item is there to be collected . I think the icon is mixed up on that dude. He should have an icon showing he has a quest ur you did it and yes the guy to turn it into.

Yea i put that on him as a example of the visual for the video. Ok so going to call that opcode OP_ServerQuestItemIcon

My mind is already somewhat fuzzy

If I remember correctly, there is different icons other than just quest icons. I swear there is icons for crafting and diplo that can go above their heads as well.

Yea i now what all of those are just not sure what that one visual is used for.

Yep - concensus amongst my family is that the icon was usually on something like a chest or item that has something to be collected as part of a quest - i.e mushrooms in Vol Tuniel swamps
