Trouble running VG

I have the updated version of VG and the patcher installed with the correct file path designated. I click 'play' and the VG logo appears for a second or two then goes away. The game stops loading at this point and doesn't seem to initiate anything beyond the VG logo.

Any tips would be appreciated.

There is no error message or notification from windows. VG just stops booting up.

Lampers - have a look at the VGCLientLauncher.log file - post the contents if you can

Make sure you're actually running VGClientLauncher.exe to launch the game, as well.

Is that what you need?

Is my RAM the problem? I used to run live VG on this same comp with no problems (3GB RAM)

If I just need more RAM I can install it on my other comp with more RAM. I would like to be able to use this one tho.

I finally got it running. Turns out my unzip program was bogus and really wasn't doing anything at all. I tried a different one and it worked first try.
