VGODev Server
Can someone please try the new VGODev Server? Just make a toon, do a few rifts. This is the server we'll be practicing content design on (so we do not disrupt New Telon explorers). Just need to know I set it up right
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: VGODev Server
Logging on now.
Edit: Made character. Took me to character select. Accidentally selected New Telon character.
Edit: Clicked "Logout" Didn't work. Clicked "Exit" instead.
Edit: Waiting on data. I think I broke it.
Edit: New Telon back. VGODev still down.

Re: VGODev Server
Thanks Cyrcle. Nothing you did at all. What I suspected would happen, did. Even though I have my 2nd server going out my 2nd IP (externalIP=68.98.218.13) in the ls_serveraccounts table, it thinks it's still my primary IP.
This is likely part of what Foof and I were also discussing, about our net code possibly needing a re-write. Things are just screwy. Thanks for testing for me

No problem. I didn't even get to test the rifting around though!
Edit: Oh no, edits are showing! (Boo!)

Re: VGODev Server
Edit: btw, your new Dev character was created fine... but the lookup to let you log in seems incorrect. Give it another try if you like. the right IP is reporting now.

Re: VGODev Server
Hmm, I see nothing on the dev server now. oh well. I'll take it down and disable the port forwarding. It appears no one can get into New Telon either :/

I can get into New Telon fine.
Edit: With an already made character.

Can you make a new one too? I just see people throwing themselves against Login but never see them going into the world. I wish more people would post when there is a problem.

Re: VGODev Server
As i mentioned in another post lastnight while my wife was customizing her character, the server dropped us twice. She never did get to finish customizing her character the way she wanted as right now, clicking the customize button on an already created char does nothing.
I guess I should also add in here something I noticed during the character creation process. That is when you DO finish customizing your char right before log in, your char still shows up as the default settings with no customizations applied until you log that char in. Once you log the char in, it then appears with all the customizations you applied during creation.
