Welcome back, you have been missed. I hope you golfed well

Fallout seems to have the purest handle on what's needed still, as he's updating Project Manager and keeping awesome lists. For content stuff, I'd ask him. Chunk Run was done last week or so, but Xinux wants to go into every dungeon/hole-in-the-ground still. He'll have that info.

For Quests, I am almost done repairing the damage from last weekend's fatal catastrophe to my personal environments, but will be frantically working on Quest parsing so I can get a full list up for you guys to sift through. I need to do that, like, immediately. So look for a horribly designed web interface coming soon.

Other than that, follow Odinzz and the gang for the last moments of VG awesomeness for some time. I wish I had time, I'm just too busy with the site and data to play

Most chunks I covered I went into all dungeons extensively. Killing all names as many times as I could to get all drop detail. I would then update my site with that information. It takes a lot of time and grinding to be sure.
Graystone needs this treatment. Extensive clearing. Darguns also, and many others.

I have uploaded a bunch for Graystone and Darguns along with completing both signature weapon quests in each dungeon.

I have also done a run through of Darguns killing many named and trash and 1 quest plus our group of 3 just hit level 40/41 tonight and we plan on hitting Greystone again for extra data.

We are checking the ProjMan as we go to see what needs the most attention and of course logging raids on Sundays.

Griffon quest, Hegnarian, Swamp armour etc are all long and detailed quests that will need a couple of people working on them for accurate data, we will be trying to hit the bigger quests like that.

So the real point I guess I am making, is that we have no real idea of mob loot tables from this collecting? That's kind of where I am going with that logic. The only way to get that info is kill the mob over and over and document the drops.

Nusibe Necropolis is another popular dungeon that needs a serious going through.

That is correct, we are blasting through dungeons and named/trash mobs looting up and inspecting everything we come across but even after multiple kills of certain mobs it can be a long task, as you would know, collecting everything from a VG mob usually takes time. A lot of them have huge loot tables and with the RNG, it's pot luck on what drops out of so many items.

Is there a better way to do it other than just farm mobs?

Is there anyway we can do a couple of passes and use your database and other resources like Xanadu, Telon Project etc to fill the loot tables later on? or will it be too hit and miss unless we get every item from named mobs in these dungeons?

It makes it a little more difficult with placeholder mobs too but again, we clear everything we see and make a few sweeps.

My DB has a lot of that data in it, but still lacks a great deal of mobs and loot.

Xanadu only keeps track of high level names, and also does not track item IDs, it simply uses screenshots. It will not prove that useful.

I would say if the most comprehensive way to do it is make sure to have a separate log file of loot drops when killing names. That is generally what I do. Also screenshot the item so you can associate it with the mob and the item id.

if peeps are on doing dungeons crawls put zewtastic in your friends list and see if I am on. I can help out with that tedium.
