Progress so far:
1) South side of the chunk repopulated (se the pic - red area) -- done
2) Corrupted Varanjar camp -- done
3) Graveyard with Ghastly Varanjars, Fallen Varanjars and Varanjari Beasts -- done
4) Bloodhowler camps -- done
5) Fixed pathers that did not stop after hailing -- done
6) Removed random movement from the mobs - mostly because of inadequate type of random movement -- done
7) Scripted NPC's by the road -- done
8) Placed city creatures -- done
9) Ongoing cleaning wherever I come (mess everywhere)...done
10) Martyr's cave -- done
11) Broken Fang followers having 0 distance fix -- done
12) Broken Fang camp mess cleaning, mobs setting (this whole place has to be set manually per mob, no way to use generic random movement within the camp area) -- done
13) Halgar's shield NPC group need to be scripted (dialog generator does not content all the NPCs) -- done
14) Broken Fang mines -- done
15) Broken Fang tent camps near the mines -- done
16) Shield's directions script -- done
17) Civic parleys check: adding the misisng ones -- done

I found a issue with NPC Shield Murrkosh.
He has two spawns and two Assign Placement Scripts.
1. created by Jakkal: just movement and greetings
2. created by Hubert: set for Diplo quest id 3785 Traps of the trade. Diplo quest text says "Follow Hjalnar to the Trap". No POI set, layer doesn't know where to go.
Problem is:
a) If I let spawn chance set 100 for loc id 238153 (related to diplo quest), NPC spawns again and again and walking the short distance to despawn point
b) when I let spawn chance set to 0, no way to fulfill the quest objective.
c) with spawn chance 100 after some time Hjalnar Thord appears to be arrested by the Shield Murrkosh. But on the original Murrkosh's spawn loc suddenly appears Shield Cacoshet. No idea why...
d) When I quest reset and quest offer this quest, Hjalnar does not start hos move at all. Meanwhile Shield Murrkosh repeats his dialogue for himself (see the pic)
I am confused and need to somehow solve this issue...

I disabled the quest "Traps of the Trade". It's really old, the whole diplo line needs updating, and something broke on this one. Since the entire diplo line needs to be updated, it would be easier to fix it when we get around to that, rather than to try to piecemeal this one quest together.

Did a run through the starting area (Derogar's Post) as a shaman last weekend.
Going through the quests available, I didn't find any bugs, but I do have some observations / suggestions.
1. Decrease the respawn time on the Saplings for the Harvesting Training quest. It took around 6 minutes from the time I chopped the tree down until it respawned. I'd also recommend maybe adding a couple more nodes.
2. This next one may just be an illusion because I didn't have a chance to go test it in IOD, but it felt like I wasn't getting the same yield per harvest that I normally would get doing the same harvesting quest in IOD. Again, that may just me misremembering things. I haven't had a chance to test.
3. This may be intentional, but I wasn't able to swap my Primary and Secondary Harvesting skills directly. I chose Mining as Primary and Quarrying as my Secondary. I wanted to change my Primary to Quarrying
These next are very minor formatting style and could just be the designer's choice:
1. Quest- Blackribbon Venom - 367. Blackribbon Adder Gland is capitalized in the quest text and on the object itself except for the turn-in.
2. Does the name of a race get capitalized in conversations?
3. Quest - Seek the Martyr - 353. Quest text says to fight your way down, but all the mobs are non-aggro.
4. Quest - Undead Animals - 2465. Quest text says something to the effect of "Thanks for coming back, now head back down to the cavern", but you can take it before completing what I' assume was a prior one. I'm guessing this could have been done for time-savings.
Otherwise everything else was great! I'll try and do more testing in Halgarad proper soon.

More testing, observations, suggestions...
Quest - Necromantics -2471. It took 9 kills to get the 3 wands required, but the number of mobs these drop from is limited. Maybe up the drop rate?
Quest - Sending a Message - 2347. An indicator for where you need to drop the bag of Gnoll paws would be helpful. After clearing several different areas in the camp, I finally got lucky with a click and finished it.
Legion Wasps around the area give Residents of Hilsbury (-1) and Vampire Slayers (+2) faction. Intended?
In the opening for the quest chain offered by Thane Kan Ukaras (~/loc 54284, -60901, 47485 "Halgar's Shield") , he talks about how he only goes into battle wearing a loin cloth and a spear. He's in full armor, so I figured this was just flavor text. Boy was I surprised to find there is actually a model for this guy! Please give the Thane his proper battle attire back
I found this guy by doing the Shaman Krat quest chain that sent me into the corrupted village.
Speaking of Shaman Krat (around loc -2820, -35659, 45736 by Derogar's Post). He gives a nice series of quests, but I would never have found him had I not been looking all over for harvesting nodes. He's west of Derogar's Post, up on a hill next to a watch tower which I assumed, incorrectly, was just set dressing. All of the other quest chains I've been doing have sent me in the opposite direction of him, either NE or SW to Halgarad. Maybe have something to direct players his way?
The whole area still needs the IoD Armor drops added to quests.
The mobs in the Gnoll camp were great! Those 3 dot Juggernauts were perfect. Kept me on my toes and got me a few times when I delayed too long on healing myself.
This area has been a lot of fun and I can't wait to move on to the next.
