So before I go back to working on spells I figured I should put one of these up. As I do not have the ability to add scripts to chunks there is no warning that this chunk is being worked on.

Beranid Hills Outpost: Total Quests 24, Status(Complete)

There appears to be two major groups within this outpost, Druids and Refugees. Most quests had clear indications who it belonged to, with the exception of "Skeletal War Machines", "Wretched Critters", "Blasphemy of Nature", "Clearing the Village", "Petty Thugs", "Out of the Ordinary", "Ruined Ruins", and "Collecting Bone Samples".

Each of these had hints, for example "Petty Thugs" refers to Kale in the third person, so I knew it wasn't her and since it dealt with druid problems it had to be either the shaman or ranger druid.

So I attempted to assign quests that seemed logical to what that person might ask for(based off their other quests), or to roughly balance the number of quests offered. To Wit;

Refugees:

Landon Beasley, His main focus seems to be attached to immediate safety. He seems to view eradication as the best means to accomplish that goal. As such I gave him "Skeletal War Machines" and "Wretched Critters".
Total Quests 5: Skeletal War Machine, Wretched Critters, Extracting Revenge, and Plaguebearers.

Lejanuv Selda, I made her the "academic" of the group. This is somewhat arbitrary as it could have been Kyra Zeban, but she is a farmer and is mostly focused on her friends and dogs. As such, she has the research style quest "Collecting Bone Samples"(we know this isn't Landon or The Druids based on the quest text).
Total Quests 3: Clearing the Village, To Rest In Peace, Collecting Bone Samples

Miranda Ouwek: She is the stereotypical "Treasure Hunter". Her three other quests send the player to the ruins with an attempt to get treasures. As such the quest "Ruined Ruins" was an easy give to her.
Total Quests 4: Ruined Ruins, Artifacts from the Dead, Treasure Hunt, A Strange Pillar

Kyra Zeban: Her quests are obvious from the quest text. No unknowns.
Total Quests 4: Nothing But A Hound Dog, Recovering Personal Effects, End Their Suffering, Vengeance Is Mine

Druids:
Kale Uon, she seems like the druid leader(is actually a druid). Giving her "Blasphemy of Nature" was slightly arbitrary, but it fits her character slightly better than the other two.
Total Quests 2: Griffon Corruption, Blasphemy of Nature

Bantoh Bachz, he is the hunter, a character a bit like Landon, so I have him the slay quest "Petty Thugs"(Can't go to Kale Uon due to quest text), so that he has at least 1 quest to give.
Total Quests 1: Petty Thugs

Shaman Jeks: Appears to be the academic of the druid group, so I gave him the research style quest "Out of the Ordinary".
Total Quests 2: Out of the Ordinary, Befouling Crystals

UndeadStalker Liesa(Rogue Guildmaster): Her three quests are obvious(quest text).
Total Quests 3: Cabin On The Hill, Power of Graystone, Further Into Graystone

Quest Grouping: Based upon this https://www.gamesvillage.it/forum/showt ... oes/page10 and the texts for "Collecting Bone Samples", "Befouling Crystals", and Plaguebearers. Those last three quests are unlocked by doing the previous quests from that npc(Lejanuv, Shaman Jeks, and Landon respectively). Liesa's quests are supposed to be available only after "helping the villagers" per the above link, so I made those three quests pre-reqs to Liesa's first quest.


Graystone: Total Quests 13, Status(Complete)

For the writ quests, which are needed to complete Purification of Graystone" the player must buy writs with bloody insignias. I set the drop rate to be 33% from trash mobs(they seemed rare in that video, so I would say this rate is a bit higher). I set it where named drop 1-3 insignias 100% of the time, but this is based on a decent rarity(at most 25%), and they are currently set to 50% spawn with their ph(that is just the default from .spawn combine)

What needs to be done:
Lots of Quest NPC's need hailing text.
Some quest text is unset.
Lots of Cleanup needed outside of Graystone.
Pathing needs to be done for some mobs within Graystone(video is great reference for this).
Most rares have PH's, but their rarity is not set(currently 50/50). Some Rare's still need PH.
Some Graystone mobs are missing(based on video).
All Mobs need npc spells.

Great job done!

Can help with:
Lots of Quest NPC's need hailing text.
Lots of Cleanup needed outside of Graystone.
Pathing needs to be done for some mobs within Graystone(video is great reference for this).
Some Graystone mobs are missing(based on video).

Not sure I understand "All Mobs need npc spells."

That is something that is a long term goal that we will develop for npc's in general(ie nothing for you to worry about).
Also add to the todo list:
Named Mobs need their drops.

Additionally, I am thinking about moving Wretched Critters over to Bantoh Bachz, in this way the refugees will have balance quest number(4) and the druids will as well(2). Of the two quests Landon has that weren't defined to be his by text wretched critters is more "ranger/culler" type.

George was unaware that there is a dialogue generator that sets up all the scripts for the main NPCs, and also has the quests associated with them generated with it. Until those NPCs can be fixed, I'll be disabling all quests in this chunk for now.

Starting chunk cleanup now.
Currently running the chunk status check.

TO DO:
Create scripts for the NPCs within the Kygh's Exchange
Sulat DelMorsam (Paladin Instructor) --script created
Lejanuv Selda (Village Refugee) --edited greeting text
Crypt Raiders--created general Crypt Raiders script
Added movement and animations to roaming Crypt Raiders (Throph, Rysam, Aldson)
In general - the NPCs (except two of them) are unarmed, which is odd --fixed
Banton Bachz --script created
Baldor Griffonwing (Flight Master) --script created, griffons uncombined/removed
Removed duplicity spawns, placed NPCs to their right place --ok

Set up harvesting stuff
Combining resources (where duplicated on the same spot)--done
Lumberjacking mobs--set
Skinning mobs --set

Clean up all over chunk mess (mobs everywhere)
named Slaughren - deleted his copies, should be roaming round the village --done
Need to populate empty areas--done
Outside areas (not Graystone)--done
Treant mobs (Petrified Treant Myrmidon and Treant Plaguebringer) + Ironbark need all individual roaming scripts --all set

There are some flying Griffons above the Graystone; Several Griffons are a short distance from Graystone. I found many more in Db, but the vast majority were below the surface of the ground. It is necessary to bring them to the surface and place -- done

These mobs have the same quest script, better do not combine them with other mobs. If yes, then have to delete the non-valid Assign Placement Scripts:

Had to do some fixes to the NPCs in the chunk, just going to lay it out here:

Spirit of Vengeance: There were originally 5 of these (Not sure why 5) and some of them were removed at some point and recreated as new spawns. We've restored the original collected spawn locations. Going through the process of removing the originals.
Spirit of Vengeance: Added hail from the dialogue generator.
Spirit of Valor: Added hail from the dialogue generator.

Getting a little bit confused here on how the quests are set up. There's 5 spirits of vengeance and not sure why. But what I'm thinking here is that 4 of them are the "prove yourselves to us" questgivers, and the 5th one (at the entrance) gives you the writs once you've proven yourself. I'm quickly running out of time to work on this though, so it has to wait.

Important outputs from the cleanup:

1) Merchant - decided to make it regular NPC with proper name (Crypt Raider's Merchant) and hailing. We can delete him anytime in case we change our mind

2) Can't test The Purification of Graystone (quest_id: 5885 ). This should be reviewed. First Vengeance Spirit provided me with means, but these can be used before the quest is requested from the Spirit of Valor. It's all confusing to me. I'll try to retest it again soon.

Dunno if these objects and NPCs are linked to this quest, anyway they are all located here .move 38426 -65703 41794
All of them not scripted, 100% spawn chance:

A Mysterious Essence (spawn_id: 1270048)
Aspect of Magma (spawn_id: 1270074)
Earthen Marauder (spawn_id: 1270075)

3) Restless Spirits (Spawn ID 1270162) need to be scripted. Based on discussion, they shoud apper randomly and explode when player gets close. Explosion should reveal the player's invisibility and hit him.Need to be done by Devs.

1. Merchant comes from the merchant contract. We can leave it up for now until we're ready to script those. But that's what it's from and shouldn't be changed otherwise.

2. I'll test it when I get a chance. I had managed to restore the mobs, and I edited the scripts, but I didn't get a chance to test the quests on them yet.

3. Restless spirits are unattackable mobs that roam around and cast AOEs.

The "unknown" mobs all placed together are for POTA and should be left alone for now.
