Blighted Lands - Elite Quest - So I was saving this one for last and I worked on it all day yesterday. Before I go any further, some caveats:
#1. The difficulty is not what it should be. Players are significantly OP compared to mobs in their current state. I have no doubt people can solo it now. When mobs finally get their proper attributes/resistances/HP/attacks/etc, I believe this will be more of a challenge. For now, you've got just 5 waves of weaksauce mobs.
#2. I tested this solo, playing it straight. So I did not test it in a group, and I did not test it if you didn't just stand there and kill the mobs as they came out. So I'm not sure what might happen if people wipe, if one player dies while the group continues, or if people try to leash the mobs. They should despawn after a time if they aren't in combat.
#3. The mobs are not locked out to anyone, so anyone can come up and kill them.
#4. You only get credit when you kill the last one. It doesn't matter what you do before that, but you do have to kill the waves to get the last one to spawn.
#5. I have no clue what the original waves comprised of. All we ever found is that it was "4-5 waves of mobs with a 5 dot at the end". So I made them up based on the existing mobs in the area. I made the final 5-dot an all caps named.
I have created some loot drops for the final mob. I did this because the quest reward is so laughably lame that it's no wonder no one recorded this quest from live. If that were my toon doing that, I would have trashed the earring first thing. The rewards do not, at all, match the effort a player would need to take to get the quest done in the first place. I'm hoping my loot drops will help make up for that.
All the quests in Blighted Lands should be up and working as they were at Sunset. They are not in any kind of decent order and it really does look like SOE had no idea what they were doing when they changed this place up for F2P. But you should be able to take all the quests, do the thing, and turn in. That said, next time I do a pass on Blighted Lands, I will probably restore it to the Pre-F2P way it was originally set up.

JOB TO DO:
1) Check the adventuring scripts, especially those created by Amnath - should be updated by Jakkal or other current team meber, since some quests were not aligned with the original VG live quests --wip
Note: currently checking the quests in Db - looks like all the quests were created by Amnath and Updated by Jakkal during 2017 and 2019.
2) Impact areas:
Ironbone area cleanup; nameds Shamlan and Maulrex should be unique --done
Ironbone area (the one with giantic bones) cleanup; named Benthrix should be unique --done
Ra'jin area west from Ulvari Portal (with named Zorgraz, which I uncombined) cleanup --done
Ulvari area near the outpost and Rift --done
Ra'Jin + Ulvari large area right next to Portal (named Urxx)--done
3) I need to run through all the areas/camps and check what's ok and what is not --done
4) Mobs placement/random movement/pathing needs to be reviewed, some areas are really bad --done
- green western area --done
- NE green area --done
Someone previously combined plenty of mobs that should never be combined together, since some are supposed to be roaming, some should stay static and some needs random general movement. Also to combine 2** nameds with four more mobs ( ==spawn chance 20%) is nonsense - nobody will waste a time to reach them again, especially when they are located in the middle of red mob hordes (gazers etc). This makes my job in this chunk incredibly tedious and I spend more time here than I expected :-/
5) Clusters, nods etc need to be combined --done
6) Ruins of Twilight - movement and pathing need to be redone, whole place is either empty, or mess --done
7) NPCs with missing/incomplete scrip:
- Mastrun (based on the dialog script part of the crafting quest)--done
- Kanni --done
8) Wailing Winds Asylum - needs cleanup, too many mobs, wrong pathing etc --done

Strange duplicity - near the Asylum there two NPCs standing right next to each other:
Spawn Id 290086 Mesmerized Takuni
Spawn Id 290007 Takuni.
Since the questgiver is only the Takuni, I set Mesmerized Takuni spawn_chance to 0. Maybe he should be up for some Diplo quest? Really don't know atm.
Update 22/02/07: found this link https://vanguard.fandom.com/wiki/Bring_Him_Home which tells that player should use Compulsion Rod to Takuni to convince him to return home. This Diplomacy quest is not created tho.
Also, found Jakkal's older note from 2019 that Mesmerized Takuni should act as a pet (diplo quest).

-based on this site https://vanguard.fandom.com/wiki/Ghost_ ... on_Control quest should be offered by Guard Eba. In VGemu Db the quest is written like Guard Na Cho should be offering that, but neither of them offers a quest in the game (not included in their scripts).
Quest can be accepted via GM command .quest offer tho.
