Game just stays in the taskbar, can't maximize

Hello all. Whenever I launch the game from the launcher, the game doesn't actually launch, the client just stays in the taskbar and every time I try to maximize nothing happens.

Yes. Initially when I set up the game I downloaded VGOEmu Launcher 4.0, but, that was giving me issues, so I downloaded the windows zip.

go to Vanguard\bin and open VGClient.ini and look for StartupFullscreen= and if it is false set it to true if it is true set it to false and try again.
