Soup for Salor and Spices for Soup were added by a designer, likely based on info from Telonica. Neither were set up properly and cannot be finished. I have set them up so that they cannot be taken at this time.

It has come to my attention that Lomshir never had it's harvesting training set up. So I've gone ahead and done it. I didn't thoroughly test it since my GM already had harvesting skills, but it should (hopefully?) be working okay.

Hi Jak! Since you recently commented here :)

I just wandered to this thread because I made a lil kitty rogue last night just to soak up some nostalgia, and from my landing place in Lomshir, I could not find any Quest shield peeps anywhere. Most of the clicky/convos stuff works (I snooped in the DB Editor) just no quests that I can see (visibly) although the editor seems to show a number of them have scripts, but seem empty.

Just letting you/anyone know in case this is wrong. My memory is wiped about how all this works, so forgive me if I'm unaware of content changes the last 4 years :mrgreen:


Okay, I am redacting everything I just said :D Is it possible the Kurashasa are just starting out in the wrong place? I popped in at some portal, with a few priests... and later (thanks to the gamepressure archive here) found all the starting quest NPCs way up the hill by the rift. Either way, it was very confusing for a newbie like me to figure out what to do. But I had fun murdering bugs and testing your Harvesting stuffs (which I believe works well)

Kurashasas in Live would start in Qur'xa, which in the Lore of the game was another dimension. After doing some quests they'd come to Telon via the portal in Lomshir that you started at.

Gamewise, it was deep underground in Lomshir chunk. Large chunks of the questlines are missing, and there was issues with NPCs spawning so far underground. For now the starting point should probably be moved to the same as the Varanthari Humans.

At some point, when SOE removed all the starter towns except Tursh, Khal, Tanvu and IOD, they made Lomshir a level 20 area. It was no longer a starter area by the time the collectors went through it. So no one could go to Qur'xa and get the data for it. We intend to rebuild it at some point, though right now we're just trying to get everything that we do have set up first.

Thanks OncaLupe and Jakkal. I was able to find all the newbie stuff up the hill and played "normally" the baby Kurashasa, though I suppse that's the Varanthari content you mentioned.

I played a cat rogue on Live too, and you're right, starting in that palace-y looking place and taking a portal to Telon. Sounds like this kinda be a Mekalia situation, where you'll have to create everything from scratch. Oh look I'm fresh out of time. See ya next year ( :D @Xinux )
