LaunchPad not working

Every time I try to open the LaunchPad i get the following error:

Any idea whats wrong?

Can't say I've seen that one before make sure you have these files in the launchpad folder and attach a copy of the LaunchPad.log

i dont have the files:

LaunchPad.log
lp_Options.xml

what should i do?

Did you get the launcher *and* the client? viewtopic.php?f=28&t=4481

yes i have the client as well

You might want to check the zip file of the launcher and client to see if maybe those missing files are there.

i downloaded everything on my laptop and when i opened the launcher for the first time it created the files that i am missing on my pc.
since i cant open the launcher on my pc those files wont be created so im not sure that missing files are the problem.

The log and xml file are created by the launchpad, so it's not even getting that far. Try downloading a fresh copy in case it got corrupted somehow. Otherwise will need to see if Xinux can come up with something.

Yea download a new zip of the launcher before you extract it right click on the folder and go to properties and unblock it. Then right click on the launcher and select run as administrator and see if that does anything.

hmm still getting the same error after redownloading then unblocking it and running as admin
