Disciple ability seems to heal out of group and for a great distance.

Which ability specifically? Currently heals seem to work as they did in Live.

Direct heals work to out of group players up to their range as expected.

Area effect heals (including Inner Light) work only within the group up to their range as expected.

Combat heals (abilities where you attack a mob and it heals your defensive target) work out of group as expected. Currently no range limit on this which is how Live worked, may be changed in the future.
