Details:
During the quest Introductino to Harvesting - 9193, I do not gain any skill points in the skill the quest uses (lumberjack in this case). This causes an excessive amount of harvesting to get through the basic quest. In released VG, you gained skill as you went through the quest, which allowed you to increase the harvesting quantity, so it did not take very long to complete the quest. Once you completed the quest and selected your primary and secondary skill, the temporary skill was reset to 0 (unless it was one of the ones you selected, in which case it was reset to 1).

I don't believe live had you gain any skills during the harvesting training quests (Maybe early in but not at sunset). I believe that the practice nodes just gave a large amount. At least that is how I would suggest doing it. Right now all nodes, regardless of if they are training nodes are not, are working off the skill. This will be fixed in the future but it is not a priority for the devs at this time.
