Lost gear, path forward?

Hey all, thanks for all the hard work for this awesome game!

I haven't played in several months but after coming back for more fun it seems I've lost all my gear. So bascially I've got a level 47 necro with all hero gear (how you start at IoD before any quest). This includes Alts I had as well which were not as high level.

So my question, is the idea here we have to reset all quests and start over to get gear again? Or was there some command to give level appropriate gear? I tried looking around for the answers but might have looked in the wrong forums/threads.

Also, ooc what is the most complete caster class? The necro I enjoy playing the most, can't yet get 2nd or 3rd pet, also the main solo spell Torment is only level 10 or 20, iirc.

If you haven't played since Oct 2017, there was an item revamp and we had to delete everything that every character had. So you'll have to reset the quests to get any quest rewards you were missing out on.

I believe the sorc is the most complete caster right now.

Thanks for the reply. I've only popped on since then never played, and have restarted.

It's really strange, using level 40+ spells and extremely low level mobs are constantly resisting. It's literally how I would expect an even match against a level 45 mob. It makes what should be easy fights take 2 to 3 times longer than necessary. Afaik, a level 45 should be able to kill a level 15 mob in 1 or 2 shots or maybe I'm misunderstanding. It seems like a change since the revamp you mentioned, so not sure if it was intentional or just not balanced yet.

Right now combat is pretty bare bones. It's not set up like the Live game and probably won't be for a while. I think the resists currently are set up based on how high your skill SHOULD be at your level and doesn't have much to do with the mob. So if you set yourself to level 40, you probably have very low level skills.

They still resist a lot and the devs are aware of it right now. But they're still busy trying to set up the back end to make sure spells work. Later they'll work on the details.

Gtk, it's very strange as a level 40+ spells, to end up wasting 50% of your mana with on one 15th level mob. It's my Ego Fear of getting swarmed by 3, level 15 mobs and dying at level 47. ;P

Conjuration and Evocation are 470.

What ever happened on the reset in October seems to have wiped my Alteration, Counterspell, Spell Id and Detection to 0. I recall going out of my way to level the skills. Especially Detection, going to a location where you can park your toon while you go make a sandwich, such as the lake in Threstra for one.

I'd just set your level back to 1 and start over man.
