Skrilien Point Progress Thread
Okay there's only like 20 quests in this chunk so I thought I'd go ahead and set those up so the clean up crew will have another place to work.
For now, I am just going to set these up in the order that we have them in our database. I will not be setting up prerequisites. I will not be doing an item pass. Just setting up the quests.
When I'm done with all the quests, I'll go back over them and set them up with prereqs and stuff. Items might not get a pass until way later.
Let's get this party started.
The Words of Master Vallerex - Complete. I'm not sure what's supposed to happen when you click the stones so I'm just going to have a window pop up and tell you something that sounds VG-ish.
Prisoners of the Coven - Complete. Note to self: This site mentions a key http://vanguard.wikia.com/wiki/Prisoners_of_the_Coven . There is no such key in our item database (That I can find). I will look into this later.
The Dark Witch - Complete. (I am pretty sure that you needed to jump through some hoops to get her to spawn or something. This is not set up yet. For now you can just wander in there, kill her and get credit. I'll look into the specific details of this later).
A Cure for Greyring - Complete. Tried to find a good animation for the Antifungal rinse, but I couldn't find anything. If I come across anything later, I'll set it up.

A Solemn Request - Complete. (Technically Strand of the Ancients) Complex quest, but everything seems to be in working order.
The Final Assault - In Progress. (Technically Strand of the Ancients) Some of the necessary things for this are missing. So I'll need to set this up when I have more time (Probably this weekend).

Today's work:
The Final Assault - Complete. Right now players can't get to the High Archon, but that should be set up for another quest shortly. I have to figure how this questline worked exactly to get it all up and running smoothly. That will probably not be done today. The quest completion and turn-in text are also missing on this one, so I have to make something up for it.
Rare Opportunity - Complete. The POIs are out of order based on the objective order. I tried to rearrange it, but quest POIs won't show a change unless I relog so I'm not going to be able to check it (Don't feel like relogging). This is just a reminder to check it later.

Enter the Ra'Hazi - Complete.
Word of Scale - Really not sure what's going on with this quest. It seems not to make sense. I don't know if we have any missing quests but a lot of this progression doesn't really make much sense.
But all the quests are in. They still have no prereqs, so yes, you can take them all as of right now.
Also, A lot of people see me complain about Brad McQuaid's overuse of "Designed Downtime" which is basically intentional timesinks. This area is a great example of this, as a lot of these quests take place in Strand of the Ancients, and it takes a lot of time (Some running through enemy territory) to get to it. If you're lucky to have a boat you can avoid it, but it still takes time to travel back to the questgivers. I am very temped to move some of these quest NPCs to the huts in Strand of the Ancients so you don't have to keep running back and forth.

Quest: The Art of Death (Necromancer quest for Rest the Dead spell).
I got the quest from the Necromancer trainer in Khal, Went to Kalendra’s Coven in Skirilien Point.
After dieing a number of times and getting a fiend to help, we finally got to the Quest NPC Master Vallerex.
After hailing him I finshed the first part of the quest, But he didn't have the second part of the quest.

That has not been set up yet. At the time that these other quests were set up, we were not working on Class quests.

- Quest Fire Lizards 2447, when started the quest from looted item, after the "Accept" option the dialog window is still open //no issue for the quest
--Quest Moving on Up (HL) Id 6292: prolly wrong POI, leading to a place without mobs needed for the quest //no issue for the quest
--quest Id 6284 No Rest for the Weary - ingame report by player Kaynne: there are no mobs to harvest zombie skin from, there are just Coven ones --ok, player missed the room with zombies
3) Check NPCs scripts (if all of them are created) --done
-Constable Suralp (pather, more locs) --ok

-Guard Bagheri --ok

This is interesting, here's the text I found:
"The Cyclopes Tower is worth visiting too. It is on island NE of Skrilien Point and is lvl 20+. The cyclops canot be target forced, so your tank needs to watch adds and roaming patterns. There is quest for this dungeon from a gnome npc that hid himself between sea and wall. Hard npc to find…"
Yep, I found him tho: NPC Mnalgin Dogramswar, he has no script --done (found his original dialog!)
Also, need to find if quest linked to him does exist --ON HOLD We have no data for this quest atm, goal should be to kill some boss at the tower, nothing else found atm
Another thing -there is a tower floor, where you can get only by teleport or something like that (based on forum discussions). There is a boss there tho: Stentorian Flame 5*. Again, no idea how it should work.
Little hint/joke for the players: I create guardian searching for the gnome round area entrance, he is calling him and making angry notes
10) Harvestable trees are stuck with other non-harvestable trees (northern island forest), some are floating (roots off the surface) - need to move them out/replace --done
-also, most of the harvestable trees are located on the east side of the island - they need to be distributed more evenly --done
11) Skawlra Scavengers- these flying mobs need reallocate and change their random movement --done
!!! This is a bad dream, 131 spawns!!! Have to fly all over the chunk and reduce them, then replace them and set movement. This will take a while
For the quest ID 2365 I need 8 Telons, there is 66% drop chance, so I think fair number of these mobs is max 20
12) Need to add pop-up messages for POIs --done
13) There are three Summoned Shards of Flames taht someone placed above teh rocky totems/statues. Need to check if these shards are spawned based on FunctionDeath from another mob or named. --open, no idea what to do with it now
14) Check the Witch Doctor/Marauder/Bloodletter villages + cave system --done
--all set here (mainly pathing and spawn placement), only one quest leads here tho
15) Check the area with Scalestone ones (Goliath, Bloodhound, Geomancer etc) + their cave system --ON HOLD
