We're starting to get a lot of consistent bug reports for The Tomb of Lord Tsang, so I'll be doing Adventuring Quest QA on it. I'll also see about fixing NPC scripts and maybe cleanup too.

Note: I will not be touching the Shendu encounter.

Today's Work:

Orc Assault: Complete. Redid the objectives so they're in the right order.
Martok Scar: Complete.
Martok Dreadbringer: Complete.
Martok Treasure: Complete.
Tao's Idol: Complete. Changed the drop rate of the idol so it's not crazy rare anymore.
Martok Cleanser: Complete.
Planning Ahead: Complete. Set it to be turned in with the same guy that gives you the quest (Dunno why it was on the other guy). Also added a little flavor text to the food barrels and updated their script.
Collecting Resources: Complete.
Tiger Uppercut: Complete
Reptile Patrol: Complete
Strike First, Strike Hardest: Complete
No Guts No Gorey: Complete
A Light in Dark Places: Complete. Significantly increased the drop chance from 1 in 20 to 1 in 5.
Ostranomical: Complete. You can now take this quest. (Was not originally set up on the questgiver).

Today's Work:

Aid the Lotus Fist: Complete.
Otherworldly Artifacts: Complete. This was not set properly to drop the items. Now all the Kojuko in the area have a chance to drop the items.
The Gremlin Menace: Complete.
The Menace Grows: Complete.
The Head of the Beast: Complete. This had some issues. But it's now set up so that you can't get the shards to drop unless you're on the proper quest and haven't finished the main objective. Then it has some cleanup and error messages put on if it you try to combine them before you have ten. You only have 5 minutes to kill Squinkmar, else he returns to his own plane of existence.
The Ulvari Weakness: Complete. Had to edit the number of drops needed to match live.
The Jin Ka Forest: Complete. Had to edit the number of drops needed to match live. Also had to rescript all the creatures in the forest for this quest as well.
Ikara, Jin'Ka Warden: Complete
Koi, Jin'Ka Warden: Complete
Jien, Jin'Ka Warden: Complete
The Jin'Ka Wardens: Complete

I just started one of the dungeon quests today, "The Tomb of Lord Tsang", but I was stopped pretty abruptly going in. The elevators aren't working in the dungeon, two of the scripture tablets are missing. One of them was written out completely (I've readded it from screenshots I have in the area during pre-sunset VG). Suffice to say, it's kind of a mess.

Don't try to do the dungeon. I have a lot of stuff to work out trying to get everything in order, so just avoid this dungeon completely for now.

Today's Work.

First, thanks to Xinux and TheFoof, we got the elevators back. Yay! Now onto the quests

The Ancient Jin Scriptures - I had to manually recreate these tablets and then try to find out where they were in the original. Thankfully I took screenshots of the dungeon some years ago. It appears that at some point, SOE did some major changes to the whole Tsang's Tomb questline. They removed the "fear" tablet from this quest, which I've readded. Most of the information online for these quests is from the pre-changes. So that's what I'm working with.

The Medallion of Lord Tsang - This one was put on an NPC even though all the quest information online says it starts with a random item drop. Because we do not have the quest text for the random item drop version, I am leaving this on the NPC. In addition, instead of waiting and hoping the named NPC will be up for the gems, I'm going to put the gems on all the mobs in the room, with a low drop rate from the normal mobs, but a guaranteed drop from the Named if you manage to get him. This way people aren't wasting their time waiting for a respawn.

I'm still working on the above quest and the two that follow (Jan Ra'Jin) and Lord Tsang's Wisdom. These are a little weird in how they work, and I need more time and a clear head to work on this, which I don't have right now. So don't mess with those currently.

Working on this again. Might not be posting progress as I have to do a lot of websearching for information on how all this worked. Looking back at the forums is basically the last thing on my mind.

I'm currently working on getting the weapon quests up. Right now everything is kind ofa mess so don't expect it to work perfectly. I need to get these quests up and then refine them from there.

Today's work: These quests are really wonky. One of them, he says you got the key. But you need the key to get inside. So wtf. I dunno. I'm just going to set these quests up as best I can and figure it out later.

These have *not* been set up for certain classes/archetypes in mind. They have NOT be checked for rewards.

Fennir, the Dragon Idols - Complete. Only a few of the mobs are set up to drop the symbols, mostly in the same room Fennir is in. I haven't gotten to the others yet.
Fennir, Part 2 - Complete. This is a simple kill quest.
Fennir Part 3 - Complete. Solve the riddles.

That's all I've got so far.

Tonight's work:

Fennir Part 4 - You need to summon a wyvern and steal it's soul. The only problem with this quest currently is the location check. I do need to fix that, but we can't really make it follow the beach. So I need to think about how I want to do this one (Might need to add a POI).

Fennir Part 5 - This is the one where you have to fight all those dudes at the mountain spot with the flame. This is set up but it's REALLY messy. I'm not going to have time to refine it. You can do it, but it's not going to be fun.

Tonight's Work:

The entire Fennir questline should be working now. I've added the symbols drop to several of the mobs in the area - not all of them yet though. I know some of these mobs are used for other quests, so they haven't been scripted yet until I get around to them. I'll add the symbols at that time.

I tested this on my non-GM Sorc toon. I did not test this in a group. I have made it so only casters and healers can get the quest.

Just hit a roadblock. We don't have Kel'Set Dar, the weapon, in our database. I'm not sure that we can create weapons. (By we, I mean Content Designers). So, I'll have to skip that one. I'm not sure we have the others either.

I might have to guess what their stats are. There are pics of the final weapons online, thankfully, but the inbetweens, no idea. We'll do the best we can.
