just think of all the griffons everyone got for their mains and alts, was fun times. Like most of the time during every update the dev of soe would break one part of the griffon quest line.

It took our guild months to get past those damn knights and Akande was the worst! Fun times though.

My first time around, I was stuck on OT knights for months. I just needed Akande. Well dicking around in OT, my husband and I got him to pop. And we begged and begged for people to join our group to help us kill him. That's when we found out just how difficult he was.

I decided at that point that I didn't want anyone else to have to feel that helpless. That's why I started Get Your Griffons. Once my toons and my guild were properly geared out, we could easily get people through. Oncalupe and I could actually duo the entire questline (except Magicborn, and only because of a lack of toons). We used to have a bard and sorc that we would put in Akande groups. Didn't matter who else was in the group. Those two could kill them by themselves. We even had a poor little level 48 tank on Akande, he actually thought he was supposed to do something lol.

It was a lot of fun, even when you're POTA/Raid geared and can easily handle them.

I also remember being stuck on Akande for months and months. This was way back when my "main"
was a bard and i'd hang around OT all day just hoping someone needed a bard to help kill him. When he finally died I think I actually got up and was screaming at him for a few minutes before I finally regained composure.

Being able to nearly solo him towards the end of the game on my sorc was very very very satisfying.
