Details:
The Imperial Poacher quest in Autumnglow Outpost is uncompletable. It won't give the option to turn in to the questgiver after speaking to the poacher.

Yes I did have some trouble with this. I marked it as a Known issue in the Jalen's crossing thread ( viewtopic.php?f=59&t=2222 ).

Mostly I don't have a lot of details on how the overall quest should proceed? Did it have alternate outcomes? You're told you need to get rid of the poacher but he resists so you can either just join him and do his quests or walk away. I filled added what dialog I could find and filled in what I could with dialog that made sense. Another option is to kill him but the elves tended to think of that as a last resort.

Also I did try to implement a turnin for the quest but it didn't work for some reason. If this had worked I could have put in different paths for failing to encourage him to leave or killing him but nothing was working. I'll have to check this again but what normally worked on turn-in didn't seem to work. I'll see if I maybe did something wrong and if there still is a problem I may pull in the big guns (Xinux, et al. ).

Suggesting that one option is to take the quick route and kill him, and turn in your quest for 90c.

Another dialogue branch should open multiple quests, presumably for better rewards. As to exactly what those might be, it typically involves velok at the regular hunting spot or bribing a local guard, don't really know for sure. http://vg.mmodb.com/quests/by-zone/ may be a slightly more complete quest list than on some other sites, but I don't see anything pertaining to this.

Thanks, I think I saw that before but unfortunately it is not very specific. I'll probably have to make something up. I'm planning on working on it this weekend and I might run some things by Xinux if they really aren't working the way they're supposed to.

I have his quest line done when you choose to join him and I think that works fine. There is just no path to take to win it for the elves without him dying. That might be the only way. With some clever writing I could offer an option to force him out of the area but it looks like this guy is someone who would stand his ground and not be convinced to just walk away easily. Anyway, I'll see what I can do with it.

Even after deciding that I seem to remember the quest itself would just not finish properly. I'll verify that though. If that is the case I'll need Xinux or the other developers to look at it.

TheFoof pointed out a silly scripting mistake I made. The quest is now completable. I don't appear to be able to change the bug in the bug tracker but it should be able to be closed I think.

The quest still needs some tweaks though so I may mark that in my Jalen's Crossing thread. But the bug should be fixed and the quest should be completable as currently written.
