Vee's visage of volume?

Vee's visage of volume?
First off, I'm not sure where this post should go.
The bard's were able to obtain a mask named Vee's Visage of Volume I believe was its name. Before APW and Vercel's mask, Vee's mask was the best voice mod at 1.40. Somewhere before sunset the devs changed how to obtain this item and I am wondering which is the best way to obtain it. At launch, there was a lengthy quest that ultimately led you to Ceros Island to kill mosquitoes for it. When the devs changed it, though I'm not completely familiar with this because I got the mask before they changed it, you ultimately had to go to Trickster's cave or whatever and I believe all you had to do was have it drop off a mob. I don't even know if there was a quest for it.
So I'm curious from either the people who have experienced it both ways which is better or some input from the people who have obtained it from Tricksters because getting it from the original method was a pain in the ass because not only was Ceros Island a ghost town, there was literraly no other good reason to be on that island I believe lol, it took a while to accomplish what you needed to do. I can't remember if you needed faction or items to drop off the mobs but whichever it was it took a while for it to happen.
