New Targonor Castle Interior

New Targonor Castle Interior

In the King's room in New Targonor, there seems to be a pile of NPCs in one location, making me think they only spawn here either randomly or on-demand.

Anyone have memory of what purpose they serve, if any? Or are they just random NPC placeholders?

Names are:
  • Ambassador Perry
    Courier Bordren
    Sergeant Daro
    Ambassador Nona
    Courier Filana
    Sergeant Lillian
    [/list:u]

    (note there are 2 of each, Ambassador, Courier, Sergeant)

Where are they exactly? A google search of course brings up nothing (Wish we had the old VGTact database). I have this feeling they had no purpose, but depending on where they are, they might be involved in diplomacy.

They are exactly in the King's chamber in New Targonor lol


While I'm in this chunk, looking over raw dialog/quest data, I am seeing very little (like, less than 10 entries) for any conversation dialogs or quest data. Did this chunk have no interactive NPCs or Quests?

It really didn't have much. It was mostly for crafting and diplo, with the Griffon quest tossed in for adventuring. The diplo was probably the most used, with the exception of the banisher's stuff (Or was it executioners for crafting? I always get those messed up).

Let me hop on and take a look.

Ahh, I had the wrong quest table name (you warned me of this) so once I fixed it I do see a couple quests. Not much though.

I remember having to do a bunch of Parleys in the kings room and after the parley the npc would walk off then they would respawn. I remember courier being one of the names.
