Is it possible to reach APW? I'm just curious, I'd love to run through it without getting attacked, just to see all the sights

I tried /say .rift ancientportwarehouse but it didn't work.

.rift 371[/quote]

For what it's worth, the list of rift locations at the reference is incomplete. Early on, before I knew there was such a list, I tried rifting to every number starting at 1 until I hit a large set of numbers with no rifts. Some of the missing rifts are:

192 - Eastwatch. This appears to be the same location as rift 322 (a second instance?)
293 - Looks like parts of 375 (POTA), but after hit by a war
294 - Same as 293
295 - Not sure, but looks like Nexus
372 - APW, but without NPCs (no spawn scripts, I guess)
373 - APW, but without NPCs
374 - APW, but without NPCs
375 - POTA, original chunk I would guess, as it includes the outside (ramp, colonnade, room behind the locked door, ramp down)
376 - APW, but without NPCs
377 - APW, but without NPCs

The missing APW chunks in my list are because they are the exact same zone, only a "shard" of APW. Back in the day, there were so many guilds in APW, SOE split them up by making complete copies - not instances, but full-fledged zones. That's why there are 5 more with nothing in them for our server, because I didn't bother popping copy chunks.

I have no idea how you got into 192, it's not even in our database.

293, 294, 295 and 375 are "Unknown" to us, so if you know what they are for sure, we can set their names up properly finally.

I'm betting that 293 is the "Halls of Shattered Souls" which was supposed to be the next stage of POTA that they never put into the game. That's what it looks like to me.

293/294 could be Order and Chaos sides. They look identical so I'm not sure if it's sharded or if it was intended to be a split between the two factions.

295 looks like Nexus to me.

It is possible (probable) that 192 was some kind of transcription error on my part. I was doing a lot of rifting and note-taking. In any case, .rift 192 yields an error now.

278 - Nexus
279 - Nexus
285 - Nexus
286 - Nexus
295 - Nexus
298 - Nexus
303 - HoSS (with NPCs)
375 - Floating PoTA / Dev test zone

If I remember correctly, Strand of the Ancients originally contained a regular seamless dungeon, in the space that was later gated to form PotA.

I never saw the real thing but there is actually a quest that sends you to that "original area" so, that would be a reason for a standing copy of the chunk.

What is Nexus?

IIRC, Nexus was the new content they were working on when they killed the game. It was just about ready to go, and the GMs were porting people in to take a look around. As an aside, I'd really like to know what the thought process was that led to killing VG when they killed it. I have worked at large corporations before, and I imagine I would be horrified as to how the decision got made.
