New to Vangaurd Servers

hello there the names douglas im new to hosting vanguard servers i have played it and always wanted to play it again after it dissapeared i have hosted a everquest server before and wish to help bring vanguard back to life im currently trying to host a server and am encountering this error idk how to fix it any help would be greatly appreciated.

ocket: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused i
t.

note everything started up fine with minimal db error but this seems to be whats stopping it from moving forward

this is an error i encounter when starting the server can anyone tell me what im doing wrong please?

Where are you encountering the error? Is it in the server log, or is the error from the client?

This error is copied from the log and its the start up of the server not the client at all I haven't even got so far as to get my server on your guys public server

I think localhost:10102 is incorrect. 10102 is the port the login server is listening on. The source and executable for the login server has not been released, so you must use John's login server. Localhost is, of course, your machine. Here is the quote from the wiki guide.
[quote]10102 - This is the TCP port our LoginServer listens for your WorldServer to connect to us. Without this connection, players will not find your world. [/quote]
Your vgemu-world.xml should have this in it:
[quote]<loginserver host="login.vgoemulator.net" port="10102" />[/quote]
Check your vgemu-world.xml to see what you have for loginserver.
