Kurashasa Original Starting Area

Kurashasa Original Starting Area

I was just watching a video and someone was talking about the original Kurashasa starting area. This made me think about all of that (I did it back at launch). I know where the areas are (under Lomshir) and I can get to them, but I don't think I ever got a capture of those areas. Does anyone know if anyone got such a capture? None of the ones I've looked at seem to have that area. If not, maybe this thread can be used as a brain dump of all of the memories so that we can try to recreate the area.

I remember that is was 3 or 4 areas that you ported between. One was a hub like area (small town) that lead to the world of Telon (and I think only Kurashasa could port back to that area). I can get coordinates of each area if needed.

If we have to rebuild it, then I believe the area where the Kurasasha started (the original starting spot) was the same model area as the Riftseeker's Torrent "Qurxa" area. The Palace that you rift to from Qurxa was very similar to Raksasha Citadel.

I remember there were lots of races in that area, and the original diplo had you speaking between a lot of them. I don't remember why, like if you had to engage in diplomatic talks for war or peace, or if there was a crime or something. I remember there were some guys in cages on the lower floor that you had to talk to.

Here's a screenshot I found of one of the interior spots in the 'castle'. I know it's not much:

All of the areas are still there, it's just that if we don't have any captures of the areas then we won't have the NPCs for the areas. I remember a lot of oozes down there in one area (with a big named one with an awesome, and Very overpowered, buff that lasted until you camped). I'm 99% sure that only Kurashasa were there though as only they could use the portal to their plane, but I could be wrong about that (I'm talking about playable races here).

I'm also very much afraid that we will loose most of their lore as there was a great deal of diplo in their starting area before they headed out to Lomshir.

It is looking like we can piece together where the NPCs are located... Probably most of the adventuring quests. I still don't have any source for the diplo/lore though.

I went and found all of the pieces of the Kurashasa starting area. It looks like we are lucky and have the NPCs in the main temple area!
The areas below are listed in the order that the quests were in I think. IE, you started in the starting area, went to the temple, then the quests took you to area 1, then to area 2, then to Lomshir.

Starting area:
I think this area had eyelords and gremlins.
Starting loc: .move -52958 63043 -141970
Port to temple: .move -29044 51978 -144991

Area 1:
I think this area had oozes and mosquitos (One was a huge named ooze for quests, maybe Ghran'ful'une).
Port to temple: .move 64437 52499 -141390

Area 2:
I can't remember what was in this area. Maybe humanoids?
Port to temple: .move -61672 -59475 -142240

Temple:
Port from temple to starting area: .move 5651 -6552 -17185
Port from temple to area 1: .move 14087 -6975 -16020
Port from temple to area 2: .move 14062 1809 -16020
Port to Lomshir: .move 8250 911 -14795

For completeness, the port spot in Lomshir is: .move -18470 -8520 6000
