Details:
Item "Band of Stone" cannot be equipped (well, actually I equipped it once, but can't re-equip it). The item is shaded red in my inventory, despite being class and level appropriate for me (i'm a level 50 DK). When I try to equip, I get a log message "Designer error: default equipslot for item is restricted for that item."

Details:
This is an update to my bug about the "Band of Stone." The BoS's slot is listed as "Left Ear," whereas all other ear slot items I can see on the broker have "Ear" as their slot. I suspect that is the reason I can't equip it.

That is an error coming directly from the Vanguard client, I would imagine. It could be that there is something wrong with the item's properties that can be changed in the database to make it work, or it could be something that is affected by other item code, but in general that is a client response that happens without even sending a message to the server first. "Designer errors" are original debug responses and not, as far as I know, terms we use for our own debugging. I'll add it to my growing list of things to look at when I get caught up.

I am not seeing this error now--is working fine for me.

The character I had this on got wiped, but I checked Band of Stone on the broker, and it looks good now. The item's slot is now "ear" instead of "left ear," and the client is happy with it.
