Bug 164: (Xinux) Chunking breaks Flying
Bug ID : 164 - Chunking breaks Flying Bug Date : 2015/04/22 12:41:21 Assigned To : Xinux Priority : High Category : VGClient Sub-Category : Gameplay: Mounts Severity : Standard Reproducible : Every timeDetails:
while flying, changing chunks caused me to fall, needed to initiate flying again before falling completely.

All you have to do is double space bar again to keep flying if it happens. The function for flying is being called again when you chunk so not sure where it is getting lost.

Can we investigate this beyond a workaround? If flying is implemented, let's spend some time making it right.

I looked into it for awhile the packet flow looks like it's suppose to. The only thing i could think of was maybe lag while chunking. I've only ever had it happen to me once and that was when i double tapped the space bar.

Okay, I only insisted on looking into it because the player reported "Every Time". If it only happens once, or rarely, I can live with that.

It happens to me occasionally. I would guess somewhere around 2 or 3 per cent of the time I chunk, maybe even less than that. But it has definitely happened to me multiple times.
