Okay gang, I've held you at bay long enough. I need to put you to work before I lose your gracious offer to help build our world As any of you who have watched me over the last year knows, I require planning. I don't do well with "shoot-fire-aim". So before I set you lose on the Content server, there's one last thing we need to do as a team.

The Forums/Topics I find the most intriguing are:

    Game Features - A place I am hoping players continue to fill with knowledge of how the game worked until it's end[/list:u]
    ^^ Please take a day or so to read over these forum topics, and pull together all of the Community ideas mentioned into a readable list that we (you and I together) can make our final Game Plan from. No debating, we can love or hate the ideas after we see them in a single list.

    The reason I need your help on this is because each of you reads the requests differently, and each of you has a different set of caveats or concerns with them and I want that reflected here.

    (you all should have Edit permissions on this forum now, so feel free to add your own summary to this OP and your reasoning in a Reply if you so choose)

    The List
    After posting my support for the community suggestions in a Reply, I pasted them here to add to the Master List (but I can do that if you would rather not edit my post)
    • ABILITIES
    • Bring back Necro Wraith or Skeleton forms.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Bring back old rogue poison making skills/abilities.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make rogue poisons work the way they used to, instead of causing you to lose an item everytime they proc'd.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Fix rogue smoke bomb. (Might as well make this fix broken abilities if people report them as broken).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Allow rogue backstabs to work from a non-behind position, with a damage reduction penalty. (In other words, they should still be able to use the ability, they'd just get much less damage than if it were in the back.)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Restore the Necro FD so that spells didn't break their effects (dots?) or caused the mobs to reset.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Give Necros a summon TS spell so you didn't lose XP.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Fix Necro pet pathing.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Clerics need a DPS boost so they're more fun to play than watching grass grow.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Cleric and Shaman endurance regenerates at half the rate of other melee classes, this should be fixed.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Cleric DPS stance should work better (Do more damage, reduce defense/heals).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Druids need to be more relevant in DPS. Pets need a fix.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • DKs became irrelevant after Warriors got their fix.


      ADVENTURING[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • XP gain too fast for Adventuring. People outlevelling content.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Bring back original Adventuring XP curve.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Bring back Pre-GU4 difficulty, where 3-5 dots required two or more people to kill.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Reinstate Class/Race restrictions[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Get rid of Furious on trash/non boss mobs.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Z-axis leashing should be looked into so it's not so easy to leash a mob or reset it.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Rez Sick - Get rid of rez sick for characters under level 50.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Get rid of Rez Sick entirely.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Change Rez Sick so it's not a sit-n-wait mechanic where players just wait for it to wear off instead of doing anything about it.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Fix Rez Sick so if you had it, and got rid of it (like the NPCs that charge you to remove it) and you get rezzed at you TS, that you don't automatically get it back.


      BAGS/CONTAINERS[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Change the banks to one big bank that you can access at all bankers.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Increase space slots (Banks, bags, etc).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Allow banks to be shared with all characters (Like GW2)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Allow people to equip harvesting bags on the harvesting character sheet, so harvested mats don't take up regular bag slots.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • More rogue poison/ranger forage/bard instrument belts available to lowbies. (Infact, make all medium belts "storage" for rogue poisons, bard instruments and ranger stuff)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Organization of items, like crafting mats, such as collapsing into stacks or sorting.


      CONTENT (Existing)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Lots of choices at lower levels, not so many choices around level 25, and then again at level 50. Need more diversity.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Suggestions to make the lesser known, non quest related dungeons have stronger mobs and better loot rewards.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Reduce the Grind of POTA[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Impliment 50-55 properly and tie it in with content like POTA, HOSS, NExus, Stirhaad, Lothenland and AA's.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Redo the 51-55 grind so it's more like 1-50, with trainer bought skills, skillups, etc.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make group content more difficult so people don't outlevel content.


      CONTENT (Custom)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Bring back some of the older, removed quests from the game such as the Misthaven Vampire quest (That gave you the Warrior of Light (originally a pet, later a useless buff) or the vampire bat illusion). (The vampire one also gave stat changes for night/day).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Optimize Underdeveloped zones (Karrus Hakrel and Blighted Lands mentioned).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Fill in empty areas with new (boss) content[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Do something with Stiirhad[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Level gates similar to FFXI by utilizing content that wasn't properly itemized, but still enjoyable and require new tactics.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Swamp Armor and Heg or Old Targonor would give you the basic armor set needed to progress into the end game content. Then you would do the Pota T1 trials for the armor that gives you. Then instead of a huge item and money grind for T2, I would eliminate the T2 pota armor all together. For T2 pota, I think you could tie it to SoD, but eliminate the stupid SoD faction grind. Just make the quests progressive, do T1 collects, which opens up T1 nameds. Finishing T1 nameds immediately opens up T2 collects, and so on through T4 nameds. Quests for the actual APW armor would come from your T2 avatar that update as you kill the various Tier named mobs (this is because APW armor currently is between Pota T2 and Pota T3 quality wise). Once you have completed the T2 armor quests for the APW armor, you can select a god through diplo and he will offer you quests for the Pota T3 armor. These quests would require the armor molds from APW along with the schematics, ores, threads, and rivets to receive the T3 armor, which is end game.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Have monsters in the oceans attack ships. Make deep water a threat.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make POTA the mid-20's dungeon it was at the start. (Maybe two versions like they did with Hillsbury manor?)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make Slappy a raid mob.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • If Keeping Lorestones, make them more fun/engaging, like having a mob to parley or fight.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Rename Siliusaurus and Silius Flats.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Restore some of the places to get Platinum Faction coins.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Bring back Mekalia.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make Mekalia a raid zone so we can slaughter gnomes en mass.[/*:m:biv6jeih]

    • Level 50 needs better solo areas.


      CRAFTING[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make crafted gear at lower levels competitive with quested gear as well.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Adjust lootables for workorders. Don't give diplo held items like Hoarmint. Give crafting items instead or junk to sell for repair costs/mats.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Adding this one myself as I Just thought of it - Allow crafters to make crafting tools/gear.


      DIPLOMACY[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make civic diplo buffs fall off when you leave the zone.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make Guild Hall Parleys for raiding guilds that want guild-only buffs like the trophies.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make diplo buff clickies that diplomats can get from grinding parleys.


      FACTION[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Reinstate original faction system.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Bring back Racial Factions. (Being KOS somewhere in the world just because of the race you chose).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Consider removing unnecessary factions. (I guess these are some of the factions that don't change your standing with anyone else in game. Some of the factions would turn yellow mobs to red, so we'd need to get a list of those before scrapping factions).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Look into the faction, monatary and material requirements for POTA T2 and T3.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Get SOD faction faster. This opens up the named you need to kill in order to get the cords for POTA gear. But the rate at which people could get faction was pretty abysmal.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Get POTA faction faster - The way VG did it was that you could diplo or adventure your way to faction. Why were crafters left out? Letting crafters craft grind for faction would be nice too. A lot of us had to grind up our diplo from level 1 to level 45 on every character in order to finish faster. It would be nice if diplomats could do the faction parley and get a clickie that they can either use or sell to other players to get faction faster (This was a hugely popular recommendation among the players but the devs never implemented it). Since cords, money and mats can be traded, we didn't really see a problem with this being tradable as well.


      ITEMS/ITEMIZATION/LOOT
      ITEMS[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Gear bonuses and Equiped Effects for a lot of the gear (especially after F2P changes) were extremely overpowered.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • APW gear bonuses were lackluster.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Offer alternatives for raiding loot such as kill tokens that can be exchanged for raiding loot.
      LOOT[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Get rid of the 'better than raid gear' EE's on some of the orange drops from level 40's areas such as Isle of Madness.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Reitemize the drops especially the ones with the crazy powerful EE's and Critical Damage Bonus.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Remove IOD and uber quest lines such as HUnter's League who's loot is better than standard loot.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Itemization needed work - HUnters League and URT dominated the gear and forced people in that direction. Made gear in other areas lousy by comparison, making it not worth it.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • APW Bosses - APW bosses would sometimes drop the faction things for POTA gear. It would be kinda cool if they could drop slivers and stuff too.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Reduce wait times on things, such as the turtle shells or zombie flesh for hunter's league.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Put back the Yellow/Orange drops that were removed by SOE. [/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Add better drops for the lower levels.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Increase drop rate for mats and components (I assume they mean echos and epic slivers).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • No magical weapons or armor until level 20. Not sure what this means.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Tone down chances of magical item drops


      JUSTIFIABLE HOMOCIDE[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Get rid of Slappy.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Definitely get rid of Scrappy in SOD.


      QUESTING[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Bring back more difficult quest lines at places like Lord Tsang's tomb.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make OT Shields nonrepeatable.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Someone liked the idea of quest hubs pointing to other hubs to continue seamlessly.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make the rewards better for racial starter areas.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Nerf the rewards for IOD, they were out of line with the rest of the game.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Epic should only require 10-20 named runs.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Change epic weapon grind to epic quest instead.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • T3 Armor - 2 runs per piece.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Get more cords per quest turn-in.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Leave the turn-ins always available. Don't make people buy the TASC generator that cost a fortune.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Reduce the costs of the armor. [/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make the griffon quest rewards more worthwhile. (Currently the gear you get from the quest isn't as good as the gear you need to get the job done.)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Add in quests that gives you fun fluff pets like the sachel of winter. (Snuggles wolf pup)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Connect the Hilsbury manor quests (Between the 20's and the 50 version) better so people know about it.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Have quest mobs always drop quest items for people in the group no matter what part of the quest they're on (So if they do the work, they can turn in the quest even if they don't have it yet).


      RAIDING[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • POTA was bad. Locked doors were bad. Technical requirements bad. Too many people exploited it. "Wasn't playable without the exact right group at the right time."[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Alter some of the POTA trials so you aren't standing in a corner for 20 minutes. (Standing in the corner was a strat that some people developed for some of the trials, but it wasn't necessary).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • NN temple flips were too slow and weak. [/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • COB too difficult without POTA gear.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Dargun's Tomb final event needed a fix for the multiple instances. (Not sure what they're referring to specifically here).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Xennumet final event never worked right.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Spires keep summoning Baelthom was fun for a small group. But the dungeon was not good for a group.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Trengal Keep - The summoning of Karujin Gulgrethor was underwhelming. IIRC, this line was also never actually finished.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Graystone summons underwelming.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Falderhol underwelming.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Combine the Sister's Trial to one Trial, preferably the Order trial, and let everyone that needs the sisters trial get credit, including those in group 2 (Old bug wouldn't let people in G2 get credit).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • If Keeping the Chaos Sister Trial, make it so two psionicists aren't a requirement for success.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Keep the raid loot rolling bug.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make Raid/event move per quest area that is restricted to a certain level range.


      TRAVEL/MOUNTS
      BOATS[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make boats useful again. Bring back the boats between continents for people that want to avoid the rifts.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Make the only ships available to PCs in the game the player made kind.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Have the ships work properly again. Have the wind directions change and affect boats.
      MOUNTS[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Keep out the nonquested flying mounts.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Offer tokens for free flights to new characters.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Reassess rental flying mounts to either increase speed or extend the duration (Originally they were 10 minutes, but at some point were lowered to 5).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Ground Mounts should be faster than flying mounts.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Get rid of Randolph.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Return to flying mounts as quested, high level only.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Cash shop mounts should not be available to just buy. (Could make quests for them) - [JA: this is fixed in the fact we will not have a Cash Shop][/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Reduce automatic dismounting. Esp true for NT and Ahgram.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Allow people to stay mounted in buildings as long as they kept moving.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Allow guards to beat people off their mounts if they go into buildings while mounted.
      RIFTWAYS[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Riftways - Make players unlock them before they can use them. Make them require stones again. (Though paying for the rifts should be enough).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Consider removing some of the rifts. (Example: There were three green rifts in Thestra that were in neighboring chunks).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Get rid of Rifts. Give players summon spells. [/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Add free white rifts to player starter zones to allow people of low level to help others, but also allow them to return to their own hometown to finish quests. Alternatively, give people a "Recall to home city" ability.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Keep the rifts level locked.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
    • Remove the riftways and impliment the old travel system (boats) and caravans.[/*:m:biv6jeih]

        BUGS(ones we should be able to fix)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Remove the need for necro lev in APW. (This was a Z-axis issue. If the mobs kicked you too far up the Z axis the mobs would reset.)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fix Clickies.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fix the clicky timers.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fix the rental mount bug that let you fly it indefinitely until you logged out.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fix loot rolls in regards to people trying to start multiple rolls from multiple dead mobs.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • If set to /anon, don't show the character in any command queries or LFG tool.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fix HUD Screen text information so it posts in the chat box (Such as the voices of the OT knights). These can be easily missed, especially by meleers who get "You can't do that yet" messages by spamming macros.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Make it so the "You can't do that yet" type messages don't override important chat information such as a mob going furious.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fix the RNG so raid loot isn't so painful to get.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fix the bug where running a mob to a chunk line will permanently despawn it until a chunk reset.


        CUSTOM VGOEMU FEATURES[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Global World Chat Channe DONE! (/3 New Telon!)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Make NPC's face the person hailing them. DONE![/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Bring back racial starter areas. DONE![/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Mentoring - I always felt that it would be a good idea for mentored players to get *some* progress by helping lower level players. Though I could see how this could be abused (it's way easier for a mentored toon to plow through a dungeon). So maybe the rate of progress should be low here, but still available. This way they can help lower level guys and get something out of it as well. (Maybe the items only drop from quest spawned mobs, that they need the lower level toons to spawn for them).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Once out leveled or explored an area there is no reason to want to travel through it again. So perhaps there are portals that appear in the center of a 9 chunk grid once you have explored all the nine chunks. That way no content gets left behind, even if it is visual, and people know what is in their virtual world by direct exploration.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Bring back /claim or institute a similar system such as veteran tokens that can buy stuff from special merchants.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Instead of a merchant, put them on the herald of telon and have the herald quiz you on VG history. If you get it right, you get the item.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Offer reward/claim items for players that manage feats such as BOTB contests and such.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Allow people to recustomize their characters after creation.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Offer PVP[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Make Druid/Wizard ports instead of rifts.


        UNCERTAIN[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Bring back Tombstones[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Bring back equipment expertise.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Add Inquisitor Class and Berserker Class[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Add the AA system.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Make the stuff in player housing have a nice appearance, not a cup.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Send more than one item at a time in the mail.

      • Get rid of the Lorestones.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Get rid of Lorestones.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Don't dumb anything down. Follow the "vision".[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Level cap at 50.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Add the command /oif (No context in the thread about what this means)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Allow Custom UI's DONE! Actually, they just work. We did nothing [/*:m:biv6jeih]

        ISSUES WE CANNOT FIX[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fight music in undead areas would auto play, even if you have it turned off.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fix that area of NT that knocked you off your horse (If running from the riftway to the main part of NT's town, there's a spot that knocks you off your mount, it didn't used to do that, but at some point it got broken).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fix Stairs.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fix the stairs.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Bring back graphics options such as water reflections, grass options, better character models etc. Give animal races tails.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Increase NPC draw distance[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Better music and sound effects added. Fix the mounts that make horse sounds if they aren't horses.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Add shadows under NPC/Mob names. The yellow is eye-straining hard to see against the sand of Qalia, for example. (might be a UI thing).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Option to lower the brightness of environmental areas such as the blinding qalian sand. (In the game when you messed with gamma to make it darker, the real dark stuff became impossible to see.)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Fix Galleon colors[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Bring back environmental currents. (Like the waterslide of death in Leth Nurae).[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Give options to disable camera shake. Make camera's smoother when going down stairs.[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Give options to remove weird vision effects (possibly just making the screen black, or a smaller field of vision.)[/*:m:biv6jeih]
      • Give more armor appearance options.

As always, I'll go first to show you want I'm after I went to Wish Lists, and found the oldest post. My first entry:
  • Faux asked for a Level 50 cap on content, suggested some custom progression ideas to make this work[/*:m:1ltppu6r]
  • Cyrcle suggested filling in empty areas with new (boss) content[/*:m:1ltppu6r]
  • Mortuarius wants the quest line back for Wraith/Skeleton form, and other Abilities[/*:m:1ltppu6r]
  • shwa1976 wants "Difficulty" restored; where dots meant something[/*:m:1ltppu6r]
  • Zewtastic wants in-game stairs fixed (client mod)[/*:m:1ltppu6r]
  • John Adams wants NPCs to "Face Target" [Custom Enhancement][/*:m:1ltppu6r][/list:u]

    Something like this, for every (unique) suggestion that has been made. Once we get a full list, we can decide then go public with our Official Server plans; people will rejoice.

Anyone have a slice of time to dedicate to this first step of our design process? Tons of posts by people we need to gather into a single place for review. We have a couple weeks, but I don't want to wait until we start designing the chunks to consider community feedback.

I agree with Kilsin about the 51+ content. The POTA /grind/ sucked but the rest of the content was fun.

My question is, were we really overpowered, or were we outlevelling old content without having actual levels? Because, yes, we could go in and group most of the bosses from APW, which was years old content. By all rights, perhaps we were level 70's in level 55 bodies. But when it came down to doing some of the more difficult raid bosses, like Karax, or the content in COB, I no longer felt overpowered, I felt /vulnerable/.

I never actually saw people one shot raid mobs, except for rangers that were exploiting, but that was fixed wasn't it? I don't want to overstate out OP we might have been, but I want to make sure that it was the case before we proceed on with that thought in mind. And if we do, then COB and similar 51+ content will need to be brought down a scale.

We we moved on to POTA gear, I expected APW to become obsolete and everything else out at that time to get easier, as if we were outlevelling. So I don't think it's fair to measure POTA geared players against older, obsolete content like APW. (I'm not saying that some stuff /wasn't/ OP. But I don't think all the classes around the board were). Some of the last minute nerfs they did certainly helped get rid of the OPness.

Of course my mains were a rogue and a cleric, so it's not like I saw the OP magic wand of awesome on my toons.

Sorry if my text is not clear. What I am seeking is help GATHERING the various Wish List opinions and suggestions, not discussing or debating them. I wanted all ideas from all community members into a single post for us to review easier. My few items listed were just the first page of Wish List items, not my definitive list of suggestions.

I'll just do it myself.

I'm leaving out the requests to keep things the same, as I believe our intention is to not mess with things unless given reason to. So it seems unecessary to list those.

Proposal List:

-Optimize Underdeveloped zones (Karrus Hakrel and Blighted Lands mentioned).
-POTA was bad. Locked doors were bad. Technical requirements bad. Too many people exploited it. "Wasn't playable without the exact right group at the right time."
-NN temple flips were too slow and weak.
-XP gain too fast for Adventuring. People outlevelling content.
-Keep out the nonquested flying mounts.
-Do something with Stiirhad
-COB too difficult without POTA gear.
-Lots of choices at lower levels, not so many choices around level 25, and then again at level 50. Need more diversity.
-Get rid of the Lorestones.
-Dargun's Tomb final event needed a fix for the multiple instances. (Not sure what they're referring to specifically here).
-Xennumet final event never worked right.
-Spires keep summoning Baelthom was fun for a small group. But the dungeon was not good for a group.
-Trengal Keep - The summoning of Karujin Gulgrethor was underwhelming. IIRC, this line was also never actually finished.
-Graystone summons underwelming.
-Falderhol underwelming.
-Fight music in undead areas would auto play, even if you have it turned off.
-Remove the need for necro lev in APW. (This was a Z-axis issue. If the mobs kicked you too far up the Z axis the mobs would reset.)
-Suggestions to make the lesser known, non quest related dungeons have stronger mobs and better loot rewards.
-Make boats useful again. Bring back the boats between continents for people that want to avoid the rifts.
-Reduce wait times on things, such as the turtle shells or zombie flesh for hunter's league.
-Make OT Shields nonrepeatable.
-Look into the faction, monatary and material requirements for POTA T2 and T3.
-Get rid of the 'better than raid gear' EE's on some of the orange drops from level 40's areas such as Isle of Madness.
-Riftways - Make players unlock them before they can use them. Make them require stones again. (Though paying for the rifts should be enough).
-Bring back Racial Factions. (Being KOS somewhere in the world just because of the race you chose).
-No magical weapons or armor until level 20. Not sure what this means.
-Don't dumb anything down. Follow the "vision".
-Consider removing some of the rifts. (Example: There were three green rifts in Thestra that were in neighboring chunks).
-Consider removing unnecessary factions. (I guess these are some of the factions that don't change your standing with anyone else in game. Some of the factions would turn yellow mobs to red, so we'd need to get a list of those before scrapping factions).
-Fix the rental mount bug that let you fly it indefinitely until you logged out.
-Alter some of the POTA trials so you aren't standing in a corner for 20 minutes. (Standing in the corner was a strat that some people developed for some of the trials, but it wasn't necessary).
-Level gates similar to FFXI by utilizing content that wasn't properly itemized, but still enjoyable and require new tactics.
-Someone liked the idea of quest hubs pointing to other hubs to continue seamlessly.
-Get rid of Rifts. Give players summon spells.
-Add free white rifts to player starter zones to allow people of low level to help others, but also allow them to return to their own hometown to finish quests. Alternatively, give people a "Recall to home city" ability.
-Offer tokens for free flights to new characters.
-Keep the rifts level locked.
-Reassess rental flying mounts to either increase speed or extend the duration (Originally they were 10 minutes, but at some point were lowered to 5).
-Itemization needed work - HUnters League and URT dominated the gear and forced people in that direction. Made gear in other areas lousy by comparison, making it not worth it.
-Make crafted gear at lower levels competitive with quested gear as well.
-Put back the Yellow/Orange drops that were removed by SOE.
-Make the rewards better for racial starter areas.
-Nerf the rewards for IOD, they were out of line with the rest of the game.
-Add better drops for the lower levels.
-Gear bonuses and Equiped Effects for a lot of the gear (especially after F2P changes) were extremely overpowered.
-APW gear bonuses were lackluster.
-Fix the clicky timers.
-Fix that area of NT that knocked you off your horse (If running from the riftway to the main part of NT's town, there's a spot that knocks you off your mount, it didn't used to do that, but at some point it got broken).


The Pantheon/Epic grind

-Epic should only require 10-20 named runs.
-T3 Armor - 2 runs per piece.
-Reduce the Grind of POTA
-Increase drop rate for mats and components (I assume they mean echos and epic slivers).
-Get SOD faction faster. This opens up the named you need to kill in order to get the cords for POTA gear. But the rate at which people could get faction was pretty abysmal.
-Get POTA faction faster - The way VG did it was that you could diplo or adventure your way to faction. Why were crafters left out? Letting crafters craft grind for faction would be nice too. A lot of us had to grind up our diplo from level 1 to level 45 on every character in order to finish faster. It would be nice if diplomats could do the faction parley and get a clickie that they can either use or sell to other players to get faction faster (This was a hugely popular recommendation among the players but the devs never implemented it). Since cords, money and mats can be traded, we didn't really see a problem with this being tradable as well.
-Get more cords per quest turn-in.
-Leave the turn-ins always available. Don't make people buy the TASC generator that cost a fortune.
-Reduce the costs of the armor.
-Mentoring - I always felt that it would be a good idea for mentored players to get *some* progress by helping lower level players. Though I could see how this could be abused (it's way easier for a mentored toon to plow through a dungeon). So maybe the rate of progress should be low here, but still available. This way they can help lower level guys and get something out of it as well. (Maybe the items only drop from quest spawned mobs, that they need the lower level toons to spawn for them).
-APW Bosses - APW bosses would sometimes drop the faction things for POTA gear. It would be kinda cool if they could drop slivers and stuff too.
-Combine the Sister's Trial to one Trial, preferably the Order trial, and let everyone that needs the sisters trial get credit, including those in group 2 (Old bug wouldn't let people in G2 get credit).
-If Keeping the Chaos Sister Trial, make it so two psionicists aren't a requirement for success.

Awesome, Jak. Thank you. One additional request, that I hope doesn't make you claw my eyes out

Any way to group these bulleted items into similar features? Like, all the Combat related changes, Abilities, Crafting, and when it comes to Content, maybe single/group/raid because the mechanics are so different.

If that's too much, don't worry about it. I will take your list and pull it up into my OP when you tell me you're done gathering.

For others, there are probably many posts all over these forums with suggestions - hopefully some of you can go surfing for them and summarize them here. I should have done this all along, but hindsight, etc...
