PPO Placement

Post by Lokked » Fri Feb 06, 2015 11:49 am

Hi All,

Reaching out to the experts in VGO (that's you guys!):

What is the exact sequence of events, from the players perspective, in placing a PPO, for both the House PPO and a House Item?
I'm looking for something like, "I Right Click the PPO in my Inventory. It creates a red wire mesh that I can orient around the room, and I click where I want it. A menu pops up and I select "Place""

The whole chain of events, please!

Also, please include the chain of events when Removing a PPO or Moving a Placed PPO (if it's different than just Removing and then Placing). I know there was a menu that would pop up when right clicking a Placed PPO in VGO, and that's all I know.

There was a menu that would pop up and it would have... and this is all going on memory here, I think buttons for: Placement (X, Y and Z coordinates) and "Yaw" and "Pitch". And from what I remember, you couldn't just move the object with arrows or anything, you had to click the buttons to move them. So the placement buttons moved it to a physical location. And then you could use yaw and pitch to tilt and rotate them.

Removing them just put them in your inventory. I think that was a button called "Pick up Object".

How do you initiate the placement? Right Click PPO in inventory? Drag to ground?

Drag from inventory to ground. Then it would form either a house object, or a little cup. Mostly little brown cups.

You'd be surprised what I have laying around my hard drive when questions are asked This video was on Sunset, I was decommissioning our guild hall (collected) by moving, removing, and destroying the guild hall and finally disbanding the guild itself (Design/reliqueshed_guild_hall_and_plot.rar)

Some one elses video, too. Amazing what you find on YouTube
