Two issues with crafting and complications:
1. The rate of complications is at least double, maybe triple release VG. Even with a Tier 5 recipe, it was rare for me to get 5 complications. I get 5 in pretty much every recipe. I even got 7 once, which is more than I ever got in release (and I had 7 L50+ craftesr).
2. Once a complication is up, the chance of getting a subsequent complication is close to 100%. One of the skills of crafting in VG was knowing how to manage your complications, when to ignore them, etc. The way it stands, you either clear everything (with a good chance of not being able to finish) or you just bull your way through, since once you get 3 complications, you can't get any more till one goes away.
