So I really love this class and it says cont, intell, wis for the atts. So what should I be maxing out first, i know that I can max each one only so how per level, which I do on wisdom. Should I have higher intell or wis? And put a few points into const? Thanks guys

and same as equipment, what would be best att to find. I have my pet which is a huge help but I notice until I get into higher levels his threat level skill works but not as great as Id like it too.

    Thanks

    Hello Panzer...

My Blood Mage was originally created so as to partner a Necromancer. Both he and I applied our attribute points in exactly the same way - maxing out Intelligence and Wisdom each level and then putting all remaining in Vitality. (We always put points into Int first, then the Wisdom before touching Vitality). This is how I will be applying attribute points to my necromancer as she grows as well. For this particular situation, I can say that Aasha's partner was played until level 48 (if memory serves me correctly) before the player left the game and it was a very good choice in his mind as to how he was able to play his class and character. We both focused primarily on Int and Spell Damage Focus gear as well.

As to your pet, as you can start adding grafts to him, you will be able to augment his damage and thus the hate that he is creating. I would highly recommend that you do as much necropsy as possible. Another thing that I have noticed with how I have chosen to play my Psi, where it is quite like balancing out a necro pet (in my opinion) I tend to drop dots and slows first and give my sim a chance to hold agro, keeping my bigger damage until it no longer likes my sim and turns to me, but at that time I have stacked so many dots on the mob that they usually die right at my feet and I haven't had to move.

I hope that this helps, and best of luck!

awesome thanks. Yeah I have been dumping my atts in intell first, wis next and then if I have any left into vit or I will wait until I lvl and dump any extra to intell or wis. As for the pet, yeah I am actually getting the hang of it. If I am having fun I will pull three mobs if they are three dot, leave pet on one, fear one and work the third myself. As well if I need to fear two mobs, drop them one at a time, this is usually when I am goofing around, makes it fun. Ive never been an expert at these types of games even though this is my fav game so I am just trying to learn.

This would be how my spells would go: current lvl is 23
send pet to aggro, while using plaque --> torment +sneer from pet -->grasp of the grave/spectres touch -->dark rebuke

if it is a three dot pet
pet to aggro, let him sink in for a bit and if I join in sneer + plaque -->torment-->devouring shadows-->crippling blight and from there its just random lol, unless the aggro hits me I will use drain life. As well my main procs such as sealed fate or shadow feast.

If anyone has a better way to throw spells out in order let me know. Im always up for listening to great ideas, Im just an amateur.

    thanks

My necro human, so i have 14 pts per lvl. I spent them 5 to int 3wis/3vit/3con. Maby im wrong with not maxed wisdom, but resets still free :)

I put my points in int vit wis/con, mostly wis over con bc i like mana but vit bc I like regenerating as much as I can with out eating my self to bits.
I couldn't tell you my spell rotation out side of I have my pet on all ways assist, but I start off with my two instant cast dots, then my other two dots and let the pet do my work, if I get hit my minion gets to join in on the fun :) for the most part I try to stay away from more then two targets at a time, for everything likes to eat gnomes.
  6. A few tricks I have learned. I use the claw that procs a dot instead of the one that does "massive damage." the massive damage is good for 2 dot mobs, but for everything else, the dot does more damage. the "massive damage" (sundering?) does its damage on a 15 second timer for 340 at lvl 25. the dot is up for 15 seconds with a 15 second refresh (so all the time) and tics for 50 every second. so as long as the mob lives longer than 7 seconds the dot will always do more damage. Also I noticed it is easier for Goner to keep aggro off me when he has a dot claw and a DD fist. The Dot fist does not seem to last as long as the Dot Claw, so it wasn't contributing as much, or so it seemed.

Also sometimes you dont want your pet to have aggro. You can kill just as quickly in areas where you know the pathing by fearing mobs with torment on them. Or you can cast weight of the ghost and walk backwards (you walk backwards just as fast as you do forwards while levitating) and let the mob try to hit you - but they wont be able to catch you, as long as they have torment up and you walk.

Also, don't bother with the graft skin that does a damage shield. or the resists. Just grab a thewy ribcage (for strength) and legs of the brute (the run speed ones and evasion ones are rubbish, unless your pet is tanking).

Buy a graft bag off your trainer for a little 6 slot pouch just for grafts.

When you get 20, do your rest the dead quest to learn feign death, you will need a higher level friend to help you.

Look me (Sarazen) up if you want help or need grafts!
