Simply put "The Best of Telon" is the outstanding player base and community that supported this great game through the years. By far the best gaming community I have ever been around.

No entry needed. I already have the only prize one could want from Telon... the time spent in this community. I came here when life was at its hardest. The people of this world helped me in ways they will never know. My memories are a prized possession.

I have to admit, I did chuckle at the "retail value" but you wont find my copy on ebay or anywhere else, it has sentimental value to me along with my carefully folded cloth map and the book of artwork. I actually have 2 copies, signed by different dev teams. I was very fortunate at the last SOE live to also get Brad to sign one of my copies. Value beyond coin.
I like that. I'm pretty sure I still have a copy of Vanguard I never even opened and when it got cheap I bought at least two or three copies for friends. I always thought Vanguard had one of the most nice Collector's Editions there is to this day. The nice map and the box itself was just constructed nicely and not overly huge. Heck, the CE gamebox and everything about VG is just done nicely and has its own essence of uniqueness about it. I really wanted the leather journey/log book. At least I believe it was leather. Wish I hadn't waited so long. It disappeared from sony's website before I ordered it. As for the cloth map, I had to display mine! Telon is just too great a world to leave it folded and hidden away. +10,000 to this - best community ever - well at least most of it. I find it interesting that a game that is closing for good has a value of $50? How is that even possible? And who is going to consider it a collectors item? It be one thing if down the road the game became playable somehow - but that "ain't gonna happen".
