Huge problem, no solution (yet)
As some of you know by now, there is a problem when a single account has characters spread across multiple "Worlds" - being New Telon, Kangaroo, etc. The problem being, the first World to be queried for characters, wins... and subsequent world characters are ignored, resulting in the annoying

What is happening is in the client, where the client gets the 1st world's info and doesn't bother to look for more. We're suspecting (for now) that this is a design change in the client when VG Live went down to 1 world - there was no reason to check for others. If this is the case, this is something we cannot fix (client modifications).
We're still looking into it, and will likely come up with something soon enough. In the meantime, [color=#0000FF:16upnl79][b:16upnl79]you can work around this problem by only having characters on ONE world[/b:16upnl79][/color:16upnl79] (New Telon, [b:16upnl79]or[/b:16upnl79] your own, not both).
If you encounter the Waiting on data from... problem, simply ensure you only have characters on 1 world server for now. I know this is a pain, but there's nothing we can do about it for now.

Re: Huge problem, no solution (yet)
John - I've done a little experimenting on this tonight - I've found that if you do have multiple toons on multiple servers - you just have to select the one you want immediately after you see the list of toons appear - i.e within a second or two. I tried this a dozen times and works well.
The other way to do it - which we might be able to make use of - is to update the UILoginHistory.ini file - and place in there the server and toon you want.
I'm not sure what m_bOnLoginServer=1 means - maybe 'bind on login' ?
[Server]
LastServer=Kangaroo
m_bOnLoginServer=1
[Character]
FirstName=Jargo
LastName=
Jim
