Tursh Progress Thread
Re: Tursh Progress Thread
I've set up the brownies to follow Riftseeker Novices. There's still some cleanup, but at least you can see which ones will give you that quest update (They walk). I have one brownie that refuses to move with his Riftseeker, we're still looking into his problem. Nevermind, after some applied pressure, that brownie is now following his master.

Re: Tursh Progress Thread
Let me know how the following look's now.
Re: Tursh Progress Thread
/poke following look better?
Re: Tursh Progress Thread
Sorry, worked 2 12hr days in a row, I forgot to hop on and check. Will do that now.

Re: Tursh Progress Thread
Oh yes, that looks much better. There's still the occasional choppiness, but that might be lag on my end. Great job!

Re: Tursh Progress Thread
Completed Brownie quest last night.....confirming that it works.
Re: Tursh Progress Thread
I started a new toon today, her starter area is Tursch. I was there until level 4 and didn't have any problems with quest progression. I decided to go to IoD when Jakkal announced that there would be a flyer given for the accession quest (yep, I'm that easy) and had nothing but problems. I finally decided to call it quits for the day when:
I was in the middle of a fight but couldn't attack, so ran to safety with my GM sprint
somehow died while standing there in a safe zone (after several minutes)
saw there was a coding error in the chat window
retyped it into chat so that GM's could see it (which took forever)
and then crashed right before I could hit the enter button...
I wish I had written down the dang code so I could've posted it, but I'm just not that smart... sorry guys

Re: Tursh Progress Thread
The problems you experienced were unfortunately due to several crashes of the server, right there in a row. Sometimes happen when Xinux lets us loose on the server to mess with stuff.

Re: Tursh Progress Thread
Also, coding errors show to everyone, so no need to retype them in chat. Thanks for trying to help though, sorry you had issues. Unfortunately that's par for the course for in development stuff.
