There is a common model in F2P-style games where the more desired item cost is, say, 100 points, and $XX get's you 195, forcing to you purchase another denomination. I hope this isn't their intention.
You don't have anything to worry about mate, Brad has stated several times that he wants a free trial to "X level" so people can try the game out for a "few" levels then it will be a subscription model and he has also said there will not be any cash shops.

I would be strongly opposed to any F2P or cash shop features too but a free "trial" and then a sub is fine with me, it allows people to check it out then decide if it's for them or not and either pay up or move on (as they would be locked from progressing I would imagine).

So you're saying I can select a pledge, then use the Supporter ($5/mo) or Apprentice Developer ($15/mo) to add to my total pledge amount.

Example: Get the Explorer ($45) pledge, then subscribe for $15/mo and get upgraded to Risen pledge ($60) after first month, then Founder pledge ($75) second month, etc, etc until I get to the pledge I want?

(Obviously it's not $15 exactly but you get the point.) I know I'm probably bugging you to death, but thanks for all the answers.

Yes, I am fairly positive that is how it works, but I have asked the team and I am waiting for a definite response mate, I will post here once I get that answer, I think most of them are in bed or busy building content!

You're not bugging me at all man, I am happy to help!

You're welcome mate

You are fine to go ahead with that method that I explained above, if there are any issues in redeeming the Kickstarter pledge, let me know and we can fix it for you internally.

Sorry for the late congrats!

But Congrats all the same Kilsin!
I can't think of a person better suited to the position, you were always so active on the VG boards, and even tho I was primarily a lurker, I appreciated your topics and inputs / insights. They are lucky to have you!

P.S. Keep them in line

Thanks a lot mate, I really appreciate that!

Haha they are a great bunch of people that all want this game to be made as badly as everyone else, so it makes the job a lot easier!

A late congrats Kilsin!

Also please tell me i'll be able to move while casting in Pantheon. After playing VG I just can't shake the "interupted!!!!!!" everytime I move an inch in every single other MMO.
