With the logs what i hope to see done after sunset is parse items with what mob dropped them but with the way packets are done it's going to be real tricky to match them but i don't think impossible. Now for using websites to get the info if they were to have the whole itemlink i could collect them in-game but most sites don't. Zew was already kind enough to give me every link he had which i already collected in-game via a macro that pastes the link into the chat box then clicks on it so i get the packet collect for that item.

We are going to be missing allot of items not much we can do about that which sucks but it is what it is. Even if we had screenshots there is 118 different fields in a item with allot of the fields unknown as to what purpose they serve. I hope to one day have a nice little program that you throw a budget number into and it randomly creates items based off your criteria.

Xanadu only keeps track of high level names, and also does not track item IDs, it simply uses screenshots. It will not prove that useful.

I would say if the most comprehensive way to do it is make sure to have a separate log file of loot drops when killing names. That is generally what I do. Also screenshot the item so you can associate it with the mob and the item id.

Ok so I just got my sites new ajax code (that I broke) working again, so I can update items and associate them to a mob/dungeon/chunk/quest, etc.

And I just went into the Achatlan Lair in Veskals Exchange and noticed that they did a revamp there and all the mobs and loot have changed, higher levels now.

I will be clearing and updating there tonight probably.

If you are clearing dungeons, come up with some way to get a list of items (item links).
the named that dropped them, the named stats

• Mob Name[/*36l6ne99]
• Mob Level[/*36l6ne99]
• Mob Dots[/*36l6ne99]

  I typically keep a log that only get loot items sent to it.
  I screenshot the mob (with it still targeted) so I can see its image, and stats. I also have item windows of any loot open when I make the screenshot.

I think I have a ton of item pics from various stuff that has dropped in my travels. Might not upload anytime soon but I will eventually.
