As a Project (and Community) Leader, it is my hope that these lost souls find their way to these forums, and our server eventually, and call it "home". Their knowledge of the game will be invaluable in the [years] to come as we put this thing together. I'm just bummed there are so few C++ savvy gamers out there interested in helping us out. This will take years longer than it needs to take. I was hoping to have at least a playable base by Sunset. That's certainly not going to happen now.

Who knows come August, someone might "leak" the official SOE/SGO Vanguard server/client source if you know what I mean.

I wonder if any old devs would be a clandestine subject matter expert for you guys. I know some are over on the rerolled forums. If I ever get approved over there, maybe I'll PM one and see what he says.
