If this is how VG Live worked, and it wasn't a bug, and people are expecting it to work this way still, then of course we should preserve the option. Sounds good to me.

Maybe someone can remember better than I, but I think when crossing a chunk line, whatever you had targeted was cleared. Once in a while, if you had an NPC targeted, it would remain, but that was a bug.

Yeah the reports are contradictory, so hopefully more will chime in to break the tie.
