Good morning All,

Since it's release Vanguard has been my greatest gaming love, and greatest gaming disappointment. Love of the world, the separate sphere's, and most of all, the POTENTIAL it had to be a truly great game. Disappointment that this potential was never really given a chance, that the game was never given the support it deserved, from the players as much as anyone! I don't know how many times I've heard how bad, how buggy and unstable the game is/was. I've had far more trouble with more reputable games than I ever did with bugs or crashes in Vanguard. Of course, that's not counting completely empty zones as bugs... I've not played much, for a few years, a week or two here and there, but hearing the news of the sunset was a blow.

My wife, Lithillia, has been playing with the EQ2 project and bugging me to get over here and help out. I resisted as long as I could.

I have no particular skills to offer I am afraid, apart from those we gather from keeping our machines running to keep out addictions sated. I do have a love of the 'boring' and the 'tedious', I had far more 'success' in crafting and diplomacy than adventuring... I was always waiting for further development before diving in all the way. So, I'm very happy to delve deep into those sphere's to collect data. I am of course happy to adventure, too, but just do not have adventuring characters beyond lvl 30 or so.

I'll poke around the forums and gather some info on where and how I might help, but any pointers or advice... or orders... will be gladly received.

Deo
