VGClientLauncher.exe bugs
Hey John.. The wiki page indicates it can be downloaded in this thread but I'm not seeing it anywhere. Did you mean to post it here or is this just informational atm until you guys are ready for us to test character creation? Or am I blind and a link is here and I am not seeing it? :p

Re: VGClientLauncher.exe
Yeah sorry, my opening post wasn't very clear (I was rushed to get home last Thu). I had posted a new launcher, then found a big bug and removed it. I am trying to fix it this morning and will post a new one.

Re: VGClientLauncher.exe
I think I have the bugs fixed. Re-uploaded VGClientLauncher_1.0.4.zip in the opening post. Let me know if it doesn't work for you.
Re: VGClientLauncher.exe
Getting error "Could not connect to the launcher service: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." when attempting to create an account. Selected path to bin folder on startup and then saved. No other changes were made.

Re: VGClientLauncher.exe
Crap. That was the bug I thought I had fixed. I think I see what the problem is. If you have a second, try this -
Instead of Create Account, click Login first. It should tell you "Bad User/pass". But then you can click Create and all should work.
I think my non-object is a premature read of the config ini, which has not been created yet. Let me know if that works for you and I'll post a new one.

Trying to login first worked.. I received message that account was successfully created afterwards..

Re: VGClientLauncher.exe
Alrighty then, let's give his one more try. Kinda shocked how many bugs I left in there
Re: VGClientLauncher.exe
Sent you PMs.. Thought you might want to keep your thread down a bit if we have to do a lot of testing... 1.0.5 said it worked.. But you said it lied on 1.0.4 so not 100% sure... :p

Yep, you are created. Account_id 101 first one! I can split our troubleshooting posts over to the Tools Bugs forum. Thanks for testing, and keeping down the clutter
