Druids/DK
My wish list for the Druid is to become more relievant in dps again so they aren't just buff bots. Second their pets need to be fix and made better. I know they where over powered in the begining, but their pets sucked when I left in late 2008. I never even spawned them they sucked so bad. I look at the druid as the good pet class and should be comperable to the necro, thougyh the necros can be a little better but the druids need something.
The DK was made irrelevant when the warrior got its uber damage buff they need to be made a viable tank again. They carry the big 2h weapons they should do the most damage in a swing but the atacks should take longer than a War. I don't want any class nerfed just buff the ones lagging behind. I also think that they shouldn't lose their buff just because they switched targets or the target died it should stay up like pally or war buffs or they just need to build within a few hits.

Re: Druids/DK
Probably a little early to be asking for class reviews. I think they are a bit more concerned with functionality.
Re: Druids/DK
It is way too early but I am sure class balance will be addressed down the track when it's appropriate to do so.
FYI, Druid was a beast before VG was sunsetted, they had already been buffed and revamped a second time, so I'm not sure when you stopped playing but they were rocking some big Dps numbers. A lot of the Druid Vets didn't like the changes due to throwing the class into a different style of play with stances but it was a mixed bag and some did like it so best wait until class balance comes around to get stuck into testing raw data so we can see for ourselves.
DK is fine, I had an epic DK in full T3/Overland/Raid and he could keep up with Warriors and Pallies, it all depends on the fight and the player controlling the class, no offense meant but the DK is far from irrelevant mate. If anything is needed to be tweaked with tanks it would be removing Pally 2 hand wielding and maybe a slight balance to boost DK aggro, other than that, the tanks were pretty good.
A lot of other classes needed some love though. *coughroguecough*

Lol, I won't argue, only cause I love bard songs!

Re: Druids/DK
Agree with Kilsin. Druids were pretty beastly at or near sunset due to changes. I still can't believe I let Emberfire beat me on some parses!
Re: Druids/DK
I quit VG in late 2008 and they where a buff bot, they never had stances when I played so good news just going off of what I remembered when I left.
For the DK it was the same left in 2008 I didn't like losing my buffs everytime I switched targets and the War was the beast usually top parser was Raive leader of Trinity. But it sounds like they did alot while I was gone thanks for the update.
I relieze it is very early, but they did say wish list lol. I was last in VG when they rolled out the lvl increase from 50-55 so don't know much after the lvl increase. I also remember Isle of Dawn but I was still able to start out in racial city. POTA, The Bridge, and the place in Thesra that Horrid Island was out also. I really liked VG when I started in Febuary of 2007 except for all the crashing and bugging issues.

Yeah a lot changed since 2008, almost two full class rebalances/revamps on every class with tweaks and buffs across the board, some more than others but much better than we were back in 2008 for most classes anyway.
In the end I think we were too powerful though! We pretty much destroyed any content thrown at us and I kind of hope VGOEmu takes us back to the difficulty and challenge we used to have in the early VG days but keeping the classes balanced, it will be tough but if anyone can do it, this team can
We even got into Stirhaad, Halls of the Shattered Souls (HoSS which was PotA 2/B) and City of Brass (RI 2) etc. towards the end!

Re: Druids/DK
Very nice I ran through the middle of Stirr 2 nights ago. There was a dragon and some golems and a few peeps in there got some pics they where all lvl 57-58. It looks awsome in there. I ran around alot in middle it was pretty unpopulated. I still remember when POTA was lvl 20 content I believe when game was first out. Glad they fixed the druid but yeah they should make it as tuff when game came out hope we can do it. Thanks to all you working on this will be my home probably till Patheon comes out.
Kilsin how was the DK Buffs working at the end I remember everytime you changed mobs you lost the buffs and had to build them back up. Was it still the same at the end or was that fixed?
