Complete Setup Guide

This guide is for setting up the client to play.

***** LOGIN ACCOUNT and forum account are separate to play VG you need a LOGIN ACCOUNT the forum is only for the forums ****

***** ORIGINAL GAME DISCS WILL NOT WORK AGAIN ORIGINAL GAME DISCS WILL NOT WORK ****

1. Create a Login Account
https://www.vgoemulator.net/index.php?p=accounts


2. Client
Download the client from http://vgoplayers.com/downloads.php?tab=client


3. Unblock *** VERY IMPORTANT YOU DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP ***
Once it has finished downloading right click on the file and select properties.
If it has the Unblock box check it then hit apply/ok

4. Extract
You can now extract the client.


5. Vanguard folder should look like this now

6. Start the launcher
Double click on VGOEmuLauncher.exe


7. Configure the Launcher
Click OK on the box.

Here as long as it say's Client Found! go ahead and click Save

Click Accept

This is where you enter your LOGIN ACCOUNT username/password

You should see New Telon in the server list select it and hit play

Now you want to select Create New Character

Select your race/class and input the name you want

Select either Isle of Dawn or your home town to start in

Change your appearance to what you wish and hit finish

Hit Play

Now you are in the game
