Problem solved, sorry to have bothered you. He admitted he was typing the address wrong and it wasn't that he couldn't log in, rather that he couldn't fnd the site. He was omitting the phpBB3 part of the address.

My friend can't log into forums at moment and keeps being told to contact a Board Administrator, how does he do that if he can't log in?

Fair comment, I found my way after a bit brain scouring so am not overly bothered, was just thinking of other players more used to the 'hand holding' other games do as standard now.

Can anyone tell me if the game thinks you are still in combat even if you are not, is there an easy way to get out of that situation? Since you can't even log out of that character.
